Meet Daniel Winn, DPT, Clinical Director for Encore Rehabilitation-Opelika!

Daniel received his Bachelor of Education-Exercise Science from Auburn University and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He has experience in a wide variety of settings including outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine clinics and hospital inpatient /acute care rehab. He also has experience as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Daniel is certified in Graston Technique Manual Therapy.

Daniel’s interest in physical therapy began as high school football athlete when he suffered a significant ankle injury. With the assistant of his physical therapist, Daniel made a full recovery and began his pursuit of a physical therapy degree!

Daniel says, “I enjoy what I do in helping people achieve their goals, alleviating pain, and assisting patients in returning to a prior level of activity and recreation.” 

A native of Montgomery, Alabama, Daniel resides in Auburn with his wife, Abbey, and their two children. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, Auburn sports, and spending time with his family,
