Have you been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis or do you know someone diagnosed?
Encore Rehabilitation-Phenix City is participating with the Tele-Exercise and Multiple Sclerosis (TEAMS) research study through UAB/Lakeshore Research and the Tanner Foundation.
The FREE TEAMS study will evaluate the effects of an exercise program on improving pain, fatigue, physical activity, and quality of life in those diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
Encore Rehabilitation Physical Therapist Assistant Megan Johnson is pictured here leading a participant in exercises that have been adapted to meet the individual’s needs and abilities. The Phenix City clinic currently has 9 participants. The TEAMS study will last through January.
We LOVE to see you move and this program helps us play an active role in that!
More details are below or you may call the clinic if you have questions.
