Buddy Cook – “I want to thank Encore for the therapy I have received!”

In July of 2021, Buddy Cook was diagnosed with a CVA or stroke.  “I was unable to use my left arm and had trouble walking and with my balance,” he says.  Mr. Cook spent two months in inpatient rehabilitation before coming to Encore Rehabilitation-Dothan. He was referred to Encore by his doctor and had heard several people highly recommend Encore for his therapy. 

Mr. Cook shares, “I want to thank Encore for the therapy I have received.  It has truly made a difference and has given me hope for the future.”

After several months of therapy, Mr. Cook is progressing well and getting back to doing the things he loves!  We are so proud of your progress, Mr. Cook. We are happy to have you as our Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy Patient of the Month!

Say hello to sister and brother duo Gracie and Tucker, Physical Therapy Patients of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Dothan!

Following a four wheeler accident, Tucker broke his elbow.  Tucker had surgery on his right elbow resulting in 3 pins being placed and then having the pins removed.  Tucker stated that his favorite part of therapy is the arm bike!

Gracie then followed Tucker by having a four wheeler accident breaking her elbow.  Gracie had surgery resulting in having 2 screws placed in her left elbow.   Gracie stated her favorite part of therapy is the therapists! (We love you, too, Gracie and Tucker!)

After several months of therapy, Gracie and Tucker are progressing well and getting back to doing the things they love!

After a long history of decreased blood flow flow in his left lower extremity caused by peripheral vascular disease, Mr. Johnson ultimately had to have surgery to amputate his lower extremity above his knee. Because of the severity of the surgery, he had to begin going to Physical Therapy to learn to walk with a prosthesis. He chose Encore after it was recommended to him by his inpatient rehabilitation facility.

After several months of therapy, Mr. Johnson is progressing well and getting back to doing the things he loves! We are so proud of your progress, Mr. Johnson, and we are proud to have you as our Physical Therapy Patient of the Month!
