After a cracked knuckle bone left Mr. Don Belcher with restricted hand movement, he came to Encore Rehabilitation-Columbiana for rehabilitative care. After a few weeks, Mr. Belcher has improved the use of his hand and significantly reduced his pain. He shares, “Physical Therapy has allowed me to use my injured hand much better. I would recommend Encore because of their knowledgeable, personable, and supportive staff. The equipment was good and my appointments started on time.”

April is National Occupational Therapy Month!We’d like to take some time to introduce you to our wonderful Occupational Therapists at Encore Rehabilitation.

“In September, 2020, while riding my motorcycle, I was hit by an individual that ran a stop sign. The accident broke my back and ruptured my spinal cord sac. The right side of my pelvis folded inward. My right foot and hand were broken and I had lacerations to my midsection. I’m fortunate to have lived and not have paralysis. My spinal cord was not injured, but was irritated which caused numbness and swelling in my hip, leg, and foot. I’m learning to walk correctly again as well as strengthening my back, midsection, and legs.

Thank you our wonderful patient at Encore Rehabilitation-Tillman’s Corner who honored our staff with a cookie cake and cleaning supplies! We appreciate you!
