Congratulations to the Tuscan Avenue Encore Athlete of the Month, Ariel Jones! Ariel is a Freshman at William Carey University in Mississippi. She has been a member of the Lady Crusaders Cross Country and Track teams for a year now. Ariel has also been awarded the Runner of the week award. She has a 3.0 GPA and is majoring in nursing.
She is the daughter of Duane and Louise Jones.
Congratulations to the Tuscan Avenue Encore Athlete of the Month, Caroline Lumpkin! Caroline is an Junior athlete at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, MS. She is a member of the Lady Crusaders Basketball team and you can find her on the court wearing jersey number 23. Their team recently won the 2015 MACJC Undefeated State Championship and we are so proud of them! Caroline is a Education major and currently has a 3.5 GPA. She is the daughter of Adrian and Shannon Lumpkin. Keep up the good work Caroline!
Congratulations to the William Carey University Encore Athlete of the Month, Brooklyn Guillot! Brooklyn is a 21 year old, junior, majoring in Business Administration at WCU. She is also a pitcher for the softball team and received the 2014- NAIA National Runner-Up last year! After graduation, she hopes to go back home to Baton Rouge, LA, get a job and go to graduate school at LSU. Good luck this softball season Brooklyn! Keep up the good work!
Congratulations to the Encore Athlete of the Month from William Carey University, Maren Hasselbusch! Maren is a 21 year old, sophomore at William Carey University majoring in Health, Physical Education, and Fitness, and minoring in Business. She is a transfer student from Germany, where she went to high school in Petershagen. Her plans are to finish her Bachelor of Science degree here in the US, and then return to Germany. Maren is a member of the WCU Crusaders women’s soccer team, who won their first ever Southern States Athletic Conference Championship last fall.
