Congratulations to the Arab Clinic Athlete of the Month, Haley Flack! Haley is a senior, basketball player at Brindlee Mountain High School. She has played on the Lady Lions varsity basketball team for 4 years and was awarded All Area two years in a row. She is also a member of the 1000 point club. After graduation, Haley plans to attend Wallace State to pursue a degree in Elementary Education. Haley is the daughter of Cerett Morrow and David Flack.
Congratulations to Logan Bradford who is the Winfield Encore Athlete of the Month! Logan is a junior, multi-sport athlete at Winfield High School. He has been a member of the Pirates varsity basketball (#3) and baseball (#14) teams for four years now. Throughout his sports career, he has achieved multiple awards including Most RBIs and Most On Base Percentage in baseball, as well as, Mr. Hustle ’13-’14 in basketball. Apart from his sports achievements, Logan has a 4.0 GPA and plans to play baseball at Mississippi State while majoring in engineering. Logan is the son of Tim and Michelle Bradford. Congratulations to Rebecca Moore who was chosen as the the Vernon Clinic Athlete of the Month! Rebecca is a multi-sport, sophomore athlete at Sulligent High School. She has played Varsity Basketball (#21) and Volleyball (#26) for two years now. Her sports awards consist of the 2014 Rebound award, 2014 Volleyball Most Improved, and she is a member of the 2014 Sweet Sixteen in Volleyball. After she graduates, her plans are to attend the University of Alabama and major in physical therapy. Rebecca is the daughter of Neil and Jennifer Moore.
Congratulations to the Russellville Encore Athlete of the Month, Kristen Camp! Kristen is a senior, multi-sport, athlete from Hackleburg High School! She plays volleyball, basketball, and softball for the Lady Panthers and her awards consist of the following: Team Captain for Basketball, Marion County All Tournament Basketball Team, and the NAC All Tournament Award. After graduation, she hopes to play college basketball while working towards obtaining a bachelors in Theatrical Arts. Kristen is the daughter of Rosemarie Camp and Steve Kenney. Congratulations to the Cullman Encore Athlete of the Month, Austin Smith! Austin is a senior at Holly Pond high school and a member of the Bronco’s basketball team, who is currently ranked #1 in the state for class 3A. He is averaging 21 points, 8 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 blocks per game. (He can also make dunking look really easy.) After graduation, Austin plans on attending Wallace State Community College and majoring in Accounting. His parents are Brian Smith and Leslie Osborn. Good luck Austin, keep up the good work!

Her future plans are to attend Northwest Shoals Community College– Phil Campbell Campus to finish her basics, then transfer to another college to major in pharmacy. Darrell Williams, a 6’3″, senior OLB (#12), from Hoover High School, will be playing in the UA All American game today. Williams has had multiple offers to 4-year schools and chose to commit to Auburn University last May. Williams, along with the Hoover Buccaneers football team, recently won the first AHSAA 7A State Championship this past December. You can view his recruiting profile here.
Kerryon Johnson, a 6’0, 4 star, senior athlete (#3) from Madison Academy High School will also be playing in the UA All American game today. He is ranked #3 on the ESPN 300 football recruiting website and has had offers to multiple 4-year schools. Johnson also chose to commit to Auburn University last April. Congratulations to the Gulf Shores Encore Athlete of the Month, Wade Kornegay! Wade is a 14 years old, freshman at Gulf Shores High School and a member of the soccer team! During his sport’s off season, he has been coming to Encore for therapy on his ankle and foot that has had weakness/stiffness. He has been improving with his therapy and will be ready to get back in the game by next season! Wade is the son of Eric and Meghan Kornegay. Keep up the good work, Wade!
