Inverness Encore Athlete of the Month, Kevin Sims.

Congratulations to Kevin Sims, the Inverness Clinic Encore Athlete of the Month! Kevin is a junior at Oak Mountain High School, as well as, a multi-sport athlete! He plays cornerback for the football team, centerfield in baseball, and he is also on the track team. Throughout his multi-sport career he has torn three ACLs; however, through hard work and rehabilitation, he is able to continue playing for the Eagles. Kevin’s future plans are to attend Auburn University after graduation. Kevin is the son of Lori & Robbie Sims. Good luck the rest of the football season, Kevin! Keep up the good work!

Cullman Clinic Athlete of the Month, Kyle Denson.

Congratulations to the Cullman Clinic Encore Athlete of the Month, Kyle Denson! Kyle is a senior at Addison high school and a Fullback, LB for the Bulldogs football team (#28). He has had 7 touch downs, 44 tackles at LB, 70 for 353 yards rushing attempts, and 4 for 57 yards receiving. He recently had a hand in helping the Bulldogs win the playoff game 28-21 over Winston County:

“Kyle Denson led the Bulldog offense with 22 carries for 150 yards and a touchdown, while Kolby Kirk added 95 yards on 18 rushes and a touchdown.” – The Cullman Times

Hartselle Clinic Encore Athlete of the Month, Sydni Shelton!

Congratulations to the Hartselle Clinic Encore Athlete of the Month, Sydni Shelton! Sydni has been a student at Danville high school for 12 years and is a member of the basketball & volleyball teams. She enjoys playing off season volleyball with the Smith Lake Jrs. Sydni’s future plans are to play volleyball for Kennesaw State University after graduation. Sydni’s Basketball Awards consist of 2011-2012 All County, and her volleyball awards consist of 2013 Huntsville Times/ All-Tennessee Valley Volleyball Team, 2011-2013 All State First Team, 2011 All State Tournament Team, 2011-2013 Decatur Daily All Area, 2011-2014 All County, All Area & Area MVP, 2014 Birmingham News/Al.com preseason A List, 2014 North All Star Team, and is currently on 2014 Under Armour Watch List Nomination (results 11/5/2014). Russellville Encore Athlete of the Month, Casey Galloway.

Congratulations to the Russellville Clinic Encore Athlete of the Month, Casey Galloway! Casey is a senior at Phil Campbell high school and a member of the Bobcat’s football team. His future plans are to attend Northwest Shoals Community College/UNA and major in nursing. Casey is the son of Gill and Tanya Galloway. Good luck the rest of the season, Casey! Muscle Shoals Athlete of the Month, Hollis Abernathy.

Congratulations to the Muscle Shoals Clinic Encore Athlete of the Month, Hollis Abernathy! Hollis is a senior at Muscle Shoals high school and a member of the Trojan’s football team (#96). His sports awards consist of Trojan of the Week for his school and Athlete of the Month. He plans to attend a University on football scholarship. Congratulations to the Arab Clinic Encore Athlete of the Month, Megan Klink! Megan is a senior and multi-sport athlete at Brindlee Mountain High School. She plays Varsity Volleyball (#14) and Softball (#14) for the Lady Lions. Good luck Megan, keep up the good work!

Hoover Encore Athlete of the Month, Austin Cherry.

Congratulations to the Hoover Clinic Encore Athlete of the Month, Austin Cherry! Austin is a senior at Hoover High School and a member of the Bucs basketball team. He is a 6’2, guard on the team and averaged approx. 19 points a game in the 2013-14 season. After high school, he plans to attend college and study Law. Congratulations to the Vernon Clinic Encore Athlete of the Month, Cole Dove! Cole is a senior at Sulligent High School and a member of the Football team. Congratulations to the Inverness Encore Athlete of the Month, Rodney Anderson! Rodney is a Senior at Spain Park High School and is a member of the baseball team. He plays multiple positions including first base & pitcher. After high school he would like to attend the University of Alabama. His favorite sports team is the Boston Red Sox.
