Libby Bozeman is Patient of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Andalusia

“I was diagnosed with breast cancer 2014. Then had a reoccurrence 2024. In April of 2024, I had surgery to remove a brain tumor (breast cancer metastasis) and suffered a stroke.

“I was left with left side weakness, numbness and unable to walk.

“When I started with Encore in January, 2025, I was unable to walk much. Now things are much better! I can walk with my walker for extended lengths and my overall balance has improved! Ethan, the Occupational Therapist, has my left arm working better and I am so glad!

“I would recommend Encore because the staff at Encore are so caring! They encourage me to do things I never thought possible. They are like family!

“I enjoy the fun exercises that Riley has me do. She always adds an element of fun to the workout. When Susan works with me, we have been known to dance to Michael Jackson!

Encore Sports Medicine Athletic Trainer Monday Willis receives Distinguished Service Award by Andalusia City Schools!

Encore Rehabilitation-Andalusia proudly congratulates our Athletic Trainer, Monday Willis, on receiving the 2024-2025 Distinguished Service Award!

Monday was recognized for his outstanding dedication and service by Andalusia City Schools and Superintendent Dr. Daniel Shakespeare presented the award during the system’s Inservice Day.

We are grateful for Monday’s commitment to the health, safety, and success of student-athletes and are proud to have him on the Encore Sports Medicine Team!

Three cheers for Marley at #EncoreRehab Andalusia!

Marley had posterior labral tear in her arm from volleyball and cheer. She underwent surgery and then started Rehabilitation at Encore Rehabilitation – Andalusia! Occupational Therapist Ethan Powell worked with Marley on regaining her range of motion and upper extremity strengthening. Now, Marley has full range of motion and strength back in her arm! 

Marley says, “The Rehab Team at Encore are very friendly. They encourage you to keep going through your rehab so you can get back to doing the things you enjoy, which for me is volleyball and cheer! They are the best! They are very encouraging and you get great results here!”

Jumping again after rehab at Encore Rehabilitation-Andalusia

“Vivian wasn’t able to walk after wearing a hip-to-toe cast for 6 weeks and lost all muscle strength in her left leg. Physical Therapy and Therapist Ms. Riley helped her by building her muscle strength and confidence. Vivian’s dad had used Encore and we knew Encore was the right fit. The Rehab Team were kind, patient, and very encouraging.”

Vivian began her therapy journey with Encore after fracturing her femur while jumping on her trampoline. Her strength, courage, and progress have been truly inspiring!
