Rehab after falling 70 feet – Mr. Thompson recovers at Encore Rehabilitation-Brookley Field

“On May 13, 2025, I fell approximately 70 feet from a container ship and suffered multiple broken bones. I know God was with me that day.

‘The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord…though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.’ Psalm 37:23–24

The pain was intense, and the recovery process was not easy, but Mr. Luke and his team helped me through every step of the journey. They worked hard with me, and now I am back up and moving again. They did a tremendous job, and I truly appreciate everything they have done for me.

Never give up. When you have the Lord on your side, you have the strength to keep going. Thank you, Mr. Luke, Mr. Simon, and Ms. Jessica, for giving me the tools and encouragement I needed to keep improving every day.” ~ Mr. Marque Thompson, happy patient

Mr. Thompson’s recovery journey is a remarkable example of faith, perseverance, and determination!

After sustaining multiple serious injuries in a fall from a container ship, he remained committed to therapy and worked diligently toward regaining his strength and mobility.

We are incredibly proud of Mr. Thompson’s progress and grateful that he trusted the Encore Rehabilitation–Brookley Field team to support him throughout his recovery!

Congratulations, Mr. Thompson, on all that you have accomplished!
