Clanton Clinic Athlete of the Month, Noah Glenn.

Congratulations to Noah Glenn for being chosen as the Clanton Encore Athlete of the Month. Noah is a freshman at Jemison High School and plays on the Offensive Line for the Varsity Panther Football Team.  He attends honor classes and has a 4.3 GPA.  When he’s not on the football field, he enjoys reading and playing the piano.  Noah’s future plans are to play college football and major in Sports Medicine or Orthodontics.  Noah would like to take this opportunity to thank his surgeon, Dr. Lyle Cain; his Encore Therapist, Adam Powell; and his coaches, Jake Hogan and Donny Eslinger for their support and encouragement during his injury and rehabilitation.  

Clanton Encore Athlete of the Month, Roberto “Birdie” Abarca.

Congratulations to the Clanton Encore Athlete of the Month, Roberto “Birdie” Abarca! Roberto is 17 years old and plays football for Jemison High School. His positions in football include linebacker/kicker and he enjoys working out for his sport. He has two sibling, Maria Abarca who plays volleyball and basketball for Jemison, and Antonio Abarca who attends Jemison Intermediate school. Roberto plans to attend UAB for law school after he graduates. Keep up the good work, Roberto!

Columbiana Encore Athlete of the Month, Connor Preston.

Congratulations to the Columbiana Encore Athlete of the Month, Connor Preston! Connor is a senior athlete from Shelby County High School in Columbiana, AL. He is a varsity pitcher (#1), and second baseman, for the baseball team. His favorite class in school is history and his hobbies consist of church and sports. After high school, Connor plans to attend Mobile University. Connor is the son of Steve and Shelli Preston. Good luck during baseball season, Connor, keep up the good work!

Congratulations to the Clanton Clinic Encore athlete of the month, Clay Cunningham! Clay is a 16 year old, mulit-sport, junior at Jemison High School. He is a left tackle for the football team and a pitcher for the baseball team. His brother, Dillion, also plays on the baseball team. Clay is interested in attending Florida, Auburn, or anywhere that offers him a baseball scholarship. Good luck in both football and baseball seasons, Clay!

Congratulations to the Clanton Clinic Athlete of the Month, Will Lenoir! Will is a 17 year old, junior at Jemison High School and a free safety on the football team. He plays alongside his brother, Phillip Lenoir, who plays linebacker and quarterback. Will would like to attend UNA after high school on a baseball scholarship.  Good luck this season, Will! Keep up the good work! 

Clanton Athlete of the Month, Eian Headley and the Central Alabama Crush 10U State Champions!

Congratulations to Eian Headley and the Central Alabama Crush 10U state Champions from Clanton, AL!  Eian Headley will be 11 on June 22nd and has 6 home runs this season. Last year, Eian was picked as MVP and attended the All-Star World Series where he won the Home Run Derby in his age division. His older brother and sister, who also play baseball and softball, have been his mentors and both work with him on the side. Eian and the team have been playing baseball together since they were 5 years old, and are headed to the World Series in Panama City Beach, FL June 23-27th. The coaches of team are Head Coach: Jeff Green, Asst Coach: Oliver Headley, Jeremy Baker, Chris Miller, and Jamey McCauley.
