Tanieka Cope, DPT, is nominated for the USA Health BEE Award!

Tanieka Cope receives BEE Award Nomination (Being Excellent Every Day)!

Tanieka Cope, DPT, was nominated for the BEE Award at USA Health in recognition of the incredible teamwork and collaboration she brings to our unit as a Physical Therapist and we are so proud of her!

Tanieka plays a vital role in helping our patient regain strength, independence, and confidence. She works closely with the nursing staff and other members of the care team to ensure that each patient receives the best possible support throughout their recovery. Her communication and collaboration make a meaningful difference in the care we provide every day.

What truly sets Tanieka apart is her willingness to work alongside the team. She is always approachable, always ready to discuss patient needs, and always focused on finding the best plan to help patients succeed. She understands that great patient outcomes happen when everyone works together, and she consistently makes that teamwork a priority.

Tanieka also brings encouragement and positivity to the patients under her care. She motivates them to push a little further, stand a little stronger, and believe in their progress. Many patients are hesitant or discouraged when it comes time for therapy, but Tanieka has a way of supporting and encouraging them, so they feel capable and safe during the process.

Just like the name of this award suggests, Tanieka is a true collaborator within our healthcare facility. Her partnership with nursing and the rest of the interdisciplinary team helps keep patient care moving forward in the best possible direction. Her teamwork, dedication, and commitment to our patients make her an invaluable part of our care team.

Congratulations, Tanieka! You are amazing!

Speech Therapy at USA Health Children’s and Women’s Hospital celebrates Better Hearing and Speech Month

What we love about being Speech-Language Pathologists is the ability to help people across the lifespan, from helping infants in the NICU with feeding, watching children gain a voice with augmentative alternative communication devices, to assisting people regain the ability to speak and swallow following brain injuries or strokes. It is very rewarding knowing that what we do is making a difference in the lives of our patients and their families.” ~ Encore Rehabilitation Speech Therapy Team at USA Health Children’s and Women’s Hospital

Thank you for providing outstanding healthcare and truly making a difference! Happy Better Hearing and Speech Month!
