Check out our friend, Hudson! He attends Tender Care Learning Center in Athens where Encore Rehabilitation provide Speech and Occupational Therapy Services! Check out what his mom had to say about the progress Hudson has made as well as the benefits of receiving services at the daycare! We are so proud of Hudson!
“My son, Hudson, was diagnosed with a rare form of epilepsy two years ago. One of the major developmental delays his diagnosis affects is his speech. Routine is an integral part of managing Hudson’s epilepsy. This is where Encore became, basically, a saving grace. He was able to receive his speech therapy while at school. We did not have to add extra visits, longer car rides, or introduce him into a new environment for him to receive the speech therapy he needs to thrive in life. I will be forever grateful to Encore and their staff for providing Hudson the therapy he needs at his school. -Molli Beth, Hudson’s Mom
Our FREE SCREENINGS for Pediatric Speech and Occupational Therapy Services are now available at these area daycares in Athens and Limestone Counties. Continued therapy services at the daycares are also available!
o Tender Care o Kid’s Journey o Milk and Honey Learning Academy o First Baptist WEE Program o Friendship Methodist Lucas Ferry Campus o Friendship Methodist North Campus o Lil Tot’s o Lindsay Lane MMO Program
Free Screenings will help determine if your child needs further evaluation and intervention and if so, services are conveniently provided at the daycare and billed through insurance. If services are provided, there will be an initial evaluation performed at our clinic with the parents to establish a comprehensive treatment plan that is individualized for your child and your family.
Our Speech Therapists are trained in treating articulation disorders, language disorders, social skills, use of assistive communication devices (i.e. LAMP), as well as working with specialized populations (i.e. down syndrome, autism, hearing impaired, etc.)
Our Occupational Therapists specialize in improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care routines, and overall developmental milestones, with experience supporting children with conditions such as autism, ADHD, and developmental delays.
