“I had a stroke in March. I spent the first week doing a week of intensive inpatient treatment and then I began intensive outpatient treatment to regain strength, mobility, balance and coordination, and gain as much independence as possible.
“The Rehab Team loves to challenge me with new, fun exercises that are both exciting to do and get me closer to my goals! When they see that exercises aren’t challenging enough anymore or getting too easy, they change them up so that I keep progressing to reach each goal. The challenges and struggles are so rewarding because they are getting me exactly where I need to be to overcome my stroke.
