Madison is from Smiths Station, Alabama, and we’re excited to have her with us as she continues her journey toward becoming a Physical Therapist!
A few fun facts about Madison: She enjoys playing pickleball, reading, and cycling. She has a heart for helping people, loves cooking, baking, and attending church.
We are so happy to have Madison joining our team and look forward to watching her learn, grow, and gain valuable hands-on experience throughout her clinical rotation!

Ashton shares a bit about herself:
“I am originally from Rockford, Alabama, and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Faulkner University, where I also played collegiate softball. I went on to complete my Physical Therapist Assistant degree at South University in Montgomery.
“In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and child, family and friends. I also enjoy watching sports and exercising.”
We are proud to have Ashton as part of the Encore Rehabilitation family and look forward to the care, energy, and commitment she brings to our patients in Phenix City and Opelika!

We’re thrilled to welcome Faulkner University Physical Therapy student Kayli Taunton to our team at Encore Rehabilitation-Opelika for her first clinical rotation!
Kayli graduated from Auburn University at Montgomery with a degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Science. Following her undergraduate education, Kayli went on to pursue her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Faulkner University.
Kayli says, “My passion in PT is Orthopedic and Sports Medicine. I have enjoyed my time here thus far and am so thankful to be a small part of the Encore family!”
Having students like Kayli in our clinic is always a rewarding experience. It’s inspiring to see the next generation of healthcare professionals grow, learn, and bring fresh perspectives to our practice. We’re excited to be a part of her journey as she gains hands-on experience and hones her skills in physical therapy.

In honor of Better Hearing and Speech Month, Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman invites you to meet Allison Allcorn, Speech-Language Pathologist!
Allison originally grew up in Snead, Alabama, where she graduated from Susan Moore High School. She has received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders from Auburn University and her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Faulkner University. Allison has also participated in trainings for Lamp: Words for Life and 1st 50 Words when working with Children.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband, Noah, and their dog, Oakley. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends on the weekends.
Allison says, “The highlight of my career is when I am able to see my patients grow in their communication skills. It’s amazing to see the progress and excitement when patients are able to use their voice for the first time. As a child who received speech therapy for over five years, my ultimate goal to help patients reach the fullest potential to improve communication skills just like a speech therapist did in my life. I am blessed to be a part of such a wonderful community and work with amazing families while at Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman.”

Encore Rehabilitation-Montgomery East would like to introduce you to Sy Banks, PT, DPT!
Sy is a Montgomery native and graduate from Alabama State University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Faulkner University. Sy has been a practicing clinician for two years and has a special interest in working with athletes and active individuals.
Sy and his wife Lora-Emily have two children. He and his family enjoy spending time outside together, staying active, and spending time with friends and family.
