Carley received her Associate in Applied Science-Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Wallace State Community College. She is also a graduate of Hackleburg High School.

Carley shares, “I chose to become a Physical Therapist Assistant because I love to see the progress each patient makes from start to finish.  Being a part of the reason why someone is able to be more functional with day-to-day tasks in a safe and efficient manner is very rewarding, and that is why I love and enjoy what I do!”

Chelsea received her Applied Science in Physical Therapy from Wallace State Community College. She is also a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist. Her favorite thing about being a Therapist is seeing her patients make progress. Meet Jeff Cotten, LPTA, ATC, CES, LMT with Encore Rehabiltiation-Montgomery East #EncoreRehab

Encore Rehabilitation-Montgomery East would like to welcome our new Clinical Director, Jeff Cotten!

Jeff Cotten is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, Certified Athletic Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Massage Therapist. He has over 22 years of experience in a variety of settings, but his clinical interests are focused on Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapy, Manual Therapy, and Sports Medicine.

Jeff also holds certifications in ART (Active Release Techniques), PRRT (Primal Reflex Release Techniques), and Fascial Manipulation.  He enjoys bringing relief and restoring function by incorporating these techniques into his practice, but he also strives to correct musculoskeletal imbalances in order to prevent pain and dysfunction.

Jeff has a strong background working with all athletes, with a special interest in the running population and orthotic intervention. He also enjoys working with those in the work force by helping people get back to work and back to enjoying life.

In his spare time, Jeff enjoys hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.  He is married with three children and actively serves in his church.

We are very happy to have Jeff with us and invite you to come by the clinic to say hello to him!

Encore Rehabilitation is pleased to announce John Thomas, LPTA, ATC, is the new Clinic Director for Encore Rehabilitation at Andalusia Health Physical Therapy!

John is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant as well as a Certified Athletic Trainer. He has over 25 years experience as a clinician. John and his wife, Lisa have two children. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, working out, building equipment, being active in his church, and Auburn sports.

Jessie says, “I’ve been a part of the Encore Rehabilitation Team for almost two years now. Recently, I’ve transitioned from Mobile to Sulligent, Alabama. My husband, Jerod Dunavant, and I are excited about returning home to northwest Alabama. He’s embracing his new role as Head Basketball Coach at Sulligent High School and I’m beyond excited to serve the communities of Lamar County both within the school system and at the outpatient clinic! Mac Burt PTA Foley

Mac Burt is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) at Encore Rehabilitation-Foley, Alabama. Mac says, “The best thing about being a LPTA is being able to help people regain their freedom and meet their goals. When I see a person do something that they were not able to do before therapy, it reminds me of why I do what I do.”
