Diamondhead Encore Athlete of the Month, Karringten Perkins.

Congratulations to the Diamondhead Encore Athlete of the Month, Karringten Perkins! Karringten is a sophomore, multi-sport athlete at Hancock High School in Kiln, Mississippi. She is a member of the Lady Hawks Volleyball, Golf, and Basketball teams and wears jersey #1. Her varsity sports awards consist of the Volleyball Player of the Week for Sea Coast Echo and MaxPreps, and All-Around Player for the Pass Christian Basketball Tournament. After graduation, Karringten plans to attend Mississippi State and major in Dermatology. She is the daughter of April and Tony Perkins.

Diamondhead Encore Athlete of the Month, Josh Ladner.

Congratulations to the Diamondhead Encore Athlete of the Month, Josh Ladner!  Josh is a Senior athlete at Hancock High School and has played varsity sports for 4 years now.  He is on the Hawks Football team and wore jersey number 65 this past season.  He is the son of Debbie Ladner.  Keep up the good work Josh, good luck after graduation!

Diamondhead Athlete of the Month, Allen Sekinger.

Congratulations to Allen Sekinger who was chosen as the Diamondhead Clinic Athlete of the Month! Allen is a Sophomore at Hancock High School in Kiln, MS. He is a member of the Varsity Hawks football team and wears the jersey number 49. Allen has a 3.7 GPA and plans to attend MGCC to major in engineering. Allen is the son of Allen and Jessica Sekinger.

Diamondhead Clinic Athlete of the Month, Nathan LaCroix.

Congratulations to Nathan LaCroix who was chosen as the Diamondhead Clinic Athlete of the Month! Nathan is a Junior, multi-sport, athlete at Hancock High School in Kiln, MS. He is a member of the Cross Country team and Soccer team. He wears the jersey number 19 and is also team captain for the Cross Country team. After his senior year, he plans to attend Ole Miss for Law. Nathan is the son of Kevin and Marie LaCroix. Keep up the good work, Nathan! Good Luck your Senior year!

Congratulations to Amanda-Kay Shubert who was chosen as the Diamondhead Clinic Athlete of the Month! Amanda is a freshman, multi-sport, athlete from Hancock High School in Kiln, Mississippi. She is a member of the Lady Hawks Basketball (#2) and Volleyball (#9) teams. Her awards consist of the 2013 District Basketball Champions and a State Champion for AAU. After she graduates, Amanda-Kay hopes to attend college on a basketball or volleyball scholarship and major in nursing. Amanda-Kay is the daughter of Mike and Arleen Shubert. Keep up the good work Amanda-Kay!

Congratulations to Alex Nolan who was chosen as the Diamondhead Encore Athlete of the Month! Alex is a junior, multi-sport, athlete at Hancock High School in Kiln, Mississippi. He plays on the Varsity Tennis and Soccer teams, and is currently the Tennis Captain. After high school, Alex plans to attend Mississippi State University to pursue a degree in Biomedical Engineering. Alex is the son of Eric and Janell Nolan.

Congratulations to Madison Ladner who was chosen as the Diamondhead Clinic Athlete of the Month! Madison is a freshman, multi-sport athlete at Hancock High School. She is a member of the basketball (#4) and volleyball (#7) teams and already has a variety of awards including Free Throw National Champion (2009), Most Sportsmanship, and the 2013 District Championship. Madison hopes to play volleyball in college while obtaining a pharmacy degree. She is the daughter of Byron and Rhonda Ladner.  Keep up the good work Madison!

Diamondhead Clinic Athlete of the Month, Amanda Green.

Congratulations to the Diamondhead Encore Athlete of the Month, Amanda Green. Amanda is a sophomore, multi-sport, athlete at Hancock High School and a member of the basketball and volleyball teams (#24).  Her future plans are to attend The University of South Alabama and major in the medical field.  Amanda is the daughter of George and Merry Green. Keep up the good work, Amanda!

Congratulations to the Diamondhead Clinic Encore Athlete of the Month, Ariel Whavers! Ariel is a senior athlete at Hancock High School in Kiln, MS. She is a guard for the Hawks women’s basketball team (#5) and has been a Dew Elite 16U Division Champion, as well as, received the AAU “Sports for All, Forever” award. Her future plans are to walk-on to a major university basketball team and major in nursing. Good luck this season, Ariel, keep up the good work!

His sports awards consist of MVP, Defensive Player of the Week, and Defensive Captain. He plans to attend a four year university on scholarship and major in Sports Medicine. Lane is the son of Leah and James Ladner. Good luck and keep up the good work, Lane!
