Meet Edwin Vela, our Encore Rehabilitation – Russellville, Athlete of the Month!
Edwin is a Senior at Tharptown High School where he competes in Basketball, Soccer, and Cross Country! Edwin was named the 2021-2022 Most Improved in Basketball, 2022-2023 Wildcat Award for Basketball, 2022-2023 Cross Country Runner of the Year as well as being named to the All Section Team for the last three years for Cross Country! Edwin not only excels in athletics but also in the classroom where he has maintained a 4.0 GPA!
We asked Edwin what hobbies he enjoyed and he replied, “I just love learning new things!”
,Edwin plans on going the Junior College route to become an electrician or a Physical Therapy Assistant after high school graduation! Edwin we know you will be successful whichever direction you decide and we wish you much success in your future!
