6th Annual Encore Rehabilitation Food Drive in Decatur, Alabama

Encore Rehabilitation Inc. Corporate and Central Billing Offices recently held their annual food drive. We would like to thank everyone who contributed, including our employees and neighbors, Covenant Counseling and Consulting, WaterColor Management, and Watec, Inc.

This year’s food drive was to benefit the Neighborhood Christian Center of Alabama, Inc. in Decatur, Alabama.

Shania Colton, PT, DPT, is the Clinic Director at Encore Rehabilitation-Leeds/Moody

Meet Encore Rehabilitation-Leeds/Moody Clinic Director, Shania Colton!

Shania obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Alabama State University.

She has experience in general outpatient orthopedics, working with patients with sport-related injuries, joint replacements, ligaments/tendon repairs, motor vehicle accidents, and spine pain.

She also treats pelvic health patients in the areas of urinary incontinence (bladder leakage), prolapse, and sexual dysfunction.

In addition, Shania is Certified in Dry Needling to reduce soft tissue pain and limitations.

Shania shares, “My most enjoyable thing about being a Physical Therapist is seeing the excitement on my patients’ faces when they reach their functional goals.”

Happy Retirement to Jeanne Weeks, PT, with Encore Rehabilitation-Ocean Springs Pediatric Rehab

Happy Retirement, Jeanne Weeks, PT!

We celebrated Ms. Jeanne as she spent her last day as the Pediatric Coordinator and outpatient physical therapist. She will continue to provide school based services for the remainder of this school year.

Ms. Jeanne is one of three individuals who started the Ocean Springs Pediatric Program in 1997 through Encore Rehabilitation. Over the last 26 years, she has helped to grow and develop the Pediatric Program.

She has touched the lives of countless children and families in that time and has mentored numerous pediatric therapists. Her passion for the Peds program has made her an excellent leader.
