Congratulations to the Gordo Clinic Athlete of the Month, Malik Betts! Malik is a sophomore, multi-sport athlete at Pickens County High School located in Reform, Alabama. Congratulations to one of the funnest patients we have ever had, Joel Powell! Joel was chosen as the October Alabama Pain Center Athlete of the Month and is a multi-sport, athlete at Huntsville High School. He is a member of the Panther’s football and basketball teams. You can find him on the field, or on the court, wearing the jersey number 14 and 30 respectively. Joel has a 4.0 GPA and plans to attend with Auburn University or UAB to study orthopedic surgery. He is the son of John and Linda Powell.
