Father-Daughter Patient of the Month and Athlete of the Month Brent and Madison Johnson with #EncoreRehab Geneva

Encore Rehabilitation-Geneva is happy to announce our first Father-Daughter Patient of the Month and Athlete of the Month – Brent and Madison Johnson! 

After tearing his Achilles tendon while coaching basketball, Geneva High School Basketball and Softball Coach Brent Johnson chose Encore Rehabilitation-Geneva to be his Physical Therapy provider. Coach Johnson said, “I chose Encore because of a recommendation by our Athletic Trainer, Todd Killingsworth. Also my daughter attended therapy at Encore to rehab her shoulder after an injury.” Now Coach Johnson is back to doing all the things he loves!
Congratulations, Coach Johnson, on your successful rehab! Encore Rehabilitation-Geneva is proud to select you as our Patient of the Month!
Say hello to Madison Johnson, our newest Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Geneva!
Madison is a Sophomore and multi-sport athlete who competes in Softball, Volleyball, and Basketball for the Geneva Panthers. She has been named in the Super 12 for volleyball and basketball and also an honorable mention. She enjoys playing sports, shooting guns, and going to the lake with her family and friends. Her future plans includes possibly becoming a Physical Therapist.
Madison is the daughter of Brent and Jomanda Johnson.

AL Pain Center Athlete of the Month, Joel Powell.

Congratulations to one of the funnest patients we have ever had, Joel Powell! Joel was chosen as the October Alabama Pain Center Athlete of the Month and is a multi-sport, athlete at Huntsville High School.  He is a member of the Panther’s football and basketball teams. You can find him on the field, or on the court, wearing the jersey number 14 and 30 respectively.  Joel has a 4.0 GPA and plans to attend with Auburn University or UAB to study orthopedic surgery.  He is the son of John and Linda Powell.

Keep up the good work, Joel! Good luck this season!

Monroeville Encore Athlete of the Month, Shawn White.

Congratulations to the Monroeville Clinic Athlete of the Month, Shawn White! Shawn is a senior and multi-sport athlete from Excel High School. He has played varsity football, basketball, and baseball for the Panthers for 4 years. Shawn has won the All County Football award and the Cy Young baseball award for best pitcher.

Shawn has been visiting us for therapy from his ACL reconstruction. Below is a video of Shawn using the Biodex Isokinetic Machine. He will be back in the game in no time! Keep up the good work, Shawn!

Russellville Encore Athlete of the Month, Kristen Camp.

Congratulations to the Russellville Encore Athlete of the Month, Kristen Camp! Kristen is a senior, multi-sport, athlete from Hackleburg High School! She plays volleyball, basketball, and softball for the Lady Panthers and her awards consist of the following: Team Captain for Basketball, Marion County All Tournament Basketball Team, and the NAC All Tournament Award. After graduation, she hopes to play college basketball while working towards obtaining a bachelors in Theatrical Arts. Kristen is the daughter of Rosemarie Camp and Steve Kenney. Good Luck the rest of basketball season, Kristen! Keep up the good work!
