Vernon Clinic Athlete of the Month, Andrew Norton.

Congratulations to Andrew Norton who was chosen as the Vernon Encore Athlete of the Month! Andrew is a junior, multi-sport, athlete at Lamar County high school. He has played on the Bulldogs Football, Basketball, and Baseball teams for 2 years now. You can find him on the field, on the court, or on the diamond wearing jersey number 12. A few of Andrew’s awards consist of the Highest Academic Average for Baseball, All-County Basketball B-Team 2014-2015, and All-WAC Basketball B-Team 2015. Andrew is the son of Greg and Karla Norton. Tuscaloosa Clinic Athlete of the Month, Jake Daugherty.

Congratulations to Jake Daugherty who was chosen as the Tuscaloosa Clinic Athlete of the Month! Jake is a junior athlete at Hale County high school in Moundville, Alabama. He has been a member of the Wildcats Football team for 2 years now and wears the jersey number 62. Jake has also won the Defensive Lineman of the Year award at his school. After graduation, he plans to attend a university to major in Chemical Engineering. Jake is the son of Shane and Alison Daugherty. Keep up the good work Jake, good luck this season!

Congratulations to the Gordo Clinic Athlete of the Month, Malik Betts! Malik is a sophomore, multi-sport athlete at Pickens County High School located in Reform, Alabama. He is a member of the Tornadoes Football and Basketball team. You can find him on the field, and on the court, wearing jersey number 13 and 6 respectively. Malik has received the Basketball MVP, Best Receiver, and Most Improved awards in his sports career thus far. Malik is the son of Katrina and Carlos Betts. Keep up the good work, Malik! Congratulations to Sue Kumaning who was chosen as the Tuscan Avenue Encore Athlete of the Month! Sue is a senior athlete at William Carey College in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She is a 4 year varsity member of the Lady Crusaders soccer team. Sue has a 3.3 GPA and plans to continue her education by pursuing a masters in psychology. She also aspires to play pro soccer after college. Sue is the daughter of Tag and Elisabeth Kumaning. Keep up the good work Sue! Good luck!

Diamondhead Athlete of the Month, Allen Sekinger.

Congratulations to Allen Sekinger who was chosen as the Diamondhead Clinic Athlete of the Month! Allen is a Sophomore at Hancock High School in Kiln, MS. He is a member of the Varsity Hawks football team and wears the jersey number 49. Allen has a 3.7 GPA and plans to attend MGCC to major in engineering. Allen is the son of Allen and Jessica Sekinger.

Congratulations to Bailey Evans who was chosen as the Vernon Encore Athlete of the Month! Bailey is a Freshman athlete at South Lamar high school. He played JV football since middle school and is now playing Varsity football for the Stallions. You can find him on the field this year wearing there jersey number 53. Gordo Clinic Athlete of the Month, Jayquan Williams.

Congratulations to the Gordo Encore Athlete of the Month, Jayquan Williams! Jayquan is a senior, athlete at Gordo High School and is a member of the football team. You can find him on the field wearing jersey number 22 this season. After he graduates in the spring, he plans on joining the airforce. Jayquan is the son of Cheri and Jamie Williams. Monroeville Encore Athlete of the Month, Shawn White.

Congratulations to the Monroeville Clinic Athlete of the Month, Shawn White! Shawn is a senior and multi-sport athlete from Excel High School. He has played varsity football, basketball, and baseball for the Panthers for 4 years. Shawn has won the All County Football award and the Cy Young baseball award for best pitcher.

Shawn has been visiting us for therapy from his ACL reconstruction. Below is a video of Shawn using the Biodex Isokinetic Machine. He will be back in the game in no time! Keep up the good work, Shawn!

Hamilton Clinic Athlete of the Month, Kennedy Emerson.

Congratulations to Kennedy Emerson who was chosen as the first Hamilton Clinic Athlete of the Month! Kennedy is a Junior at Hamilton High School and loves to dance. She has been a “Key Dancer” in the Aggies band for three years now and is excited about the upcoming football season. With a 4.0 GPA, Kennedy plans to attend a 4 year college and pursue a degree in the medical field. Kennedy is the daughter of Ronnie and Jane Emerson.

Decatur Encore Athlete of the Month, Macary Humphrey.

Congratulations to Macary Humphrey who was chosen as August’s Athlete of the Month for our Decatur Clinic. Macary will be a senior at Austin High School and has played basketball for 4 years. She also helped lead the Lady Bears to the Final Four last year. Macary was recently elected attorney general at Girls State and is a volunteer tutor and mentor to young children. She plans on attending the University of Alabama where she has received an academic scholarship. Keep up the hard work, Macary! We are proud of you!
