Congratulations to the Clanton Clinic Athlete of the Month, Will Lenoir! Will is a 17 year old, junior at Jemison High School and a free safety on the football team. He plays alongside his brother, Phillip Lenoir, who plays linebacker and quarterback. Will would like to attend UNA after high school on a baseball scholarship. Good luck this season, Will! Congratulations to the Russellville Encore Athlete of the Month, Luke Baker! Luke is a Senior at Phil Campbell high school and is a member of the football and baseball teams. He plans to attend Auburn University after graduation to major in Sports Medicine/Kinesiology. Luke is the son of Time and Diane Baker. Good Luck this season Luke!
Congratulations to Katelyn Hutchinson for being chosen as the Providence Encore Athlete of the Month! Katelyn is in 7th grade at Causey Middle School and is the catcher (#9) for a travel team called the Birmingham Thunder Bolts.
Congratulations to the Decatur clinic’s athlete of the month, Derrick Adams. Derrick is a 6’2, 180 lbs senior baseball player at Austin High School. He was also invited to play for a travel ball team in Georgia, coached by a professional scout and played for Team Alabama. Derrick was selected all area his sophomore and junior years and has verbally committed to play at Jacksonville State after high school.
Congratulations to Eian Headley and the Central Alabama Crush 10U state Champions from Clanton, AL! Eian Headley will be 11 on June 22nd and has 6 home runs this season. Last year, Eian was picked as MVP and attended the All-Star World Series where he won the Home Run Derby in his age division. His older brother and sister, who also play baseball and softball, have been his mentors and both work with him on the side. Eian and the team have been playing baseball together since they were 5 years old, and are headed to the World Series in Panama City Beach, FL June 23-27th. The coaches of team are Head Coach: Jeff Green, Asst Coach: Oliver Headley, Jeremy Baker, Chris Miller, and Jamey McCauley.

Congratulations to the Fayette Clinic Athlete of the Month, Sara Long. Sara is a Junior at South Lamar High School and played on the high school’s volleyball team, as well as the club volleyball team. She plans to attend Bevill State for two years and then transfer to the University of Alabama to major in Criminology. Sara is the daughter of Jeff and Mary Long.
Congratulations to Sam Riley, a Senior at Winfield City High School who just recently won a state championship with the Winfield Softball team! Sam is planning on attending Wallace State Community College on a Softball scholarship and is pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy and Ultrasound. Sam is the daughter of Andy and Bobby Riley.
Congratulations to Isaac Hardin for being chosen as the Cullman Encore Athlete of the Month! Isaac is a Junior and plays baseball and football for Hanceville High School. He is the catcher and pitcher for the varsity baseball team, and plays center and middle linebacker for the varsity football team. Isaac has had a good baseball career with batting average of .352, 4 home runs, and 38RBIs. He would like to attend UAB after high school and play for the college baseball team. Good Luck Isaac!

He is a member of the First National Bank Student Advisory Board, Boys State Delegate, Wendy’s Heisman, Bryant-Jordan Nominee, Limestone County Spirit Award Representative, Senior Beta Club, Science Club, Spanish Club, Support Our Soldiers, FFA, and First Presbyterian Youth Group. Witt will be attending the University of Alabama in the fall, majoring in athletic training.”
