Arab Encore Athletes of the Month, Tori Sanders and Kolby Wall!

Congratulations to Tori Sanders and Kolby Wall who were chosen as a double edition of the Arab Clinic Athlete of the Month! Tori is a junior and Kolby is a senior at Brindlee Mountain High School. They are both multi-sport athletes and have done well in their sports career.

Tori has been playing on the Lady Lions varsity basketball team for 3 years and the softball team for 4 years. A few of her sports awards consist of All-County Basketball (2 years), All-County MVP for Softball, 2015 AL State Power Lifting Best Squat Overall Weight Class and 3rd place on the girls team. Apart from her sports awards, she has a 3.9 GPA. Tori is the daughter of Helen and Leslie Sanders.

Kolby has been a member of the varsity Lions Football, Track, and Weightlifting teams for 4 years now and wears the jersey number 27. His sports awards consist of All-County Linebacker and 1st Place in the 2015 Alabama State Powerlifting competition for his weight class. He has a 3.3 GPA and plans to attend Wallace State Community College for 2 years and then transfer to a 4 year college to major in Physical Therapy. Kolby is the son of Jonathan Wall.

Long Beach Clinic Athlete of the Month, Josh Borzik.

Congratulations to the Long Beach Clinic Athlete of the Month, Josh Borzik! Josh is a junior athlete at Long Beach High School in Mississippi. He has played for 4 years on the Bearcats Varsity Baseball team and wears the jersey number 4. After graduation, he wants to attend college on a baseball scholarship. Josh is the son of Louis and Dena Borzik. Keep up the good work, Josh! Good Luck in playoffs!

Providence Encore Athlete of the Month, Jailen Langham.

Congratulations to Jailen Langham on being chosen as the March Encore Athlete of the Month for the Providence Clinic! Jailen is a junior athlete at Baker High School. He is a Point Guard on the Varsity Boys basketball team and wears the #12 jersey. After graduation, he plans to attend the University of Alabama or Florida A&M and pursue a pharmacy degree. Jailen is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Houston Langham. Keep up the good work Jailen!

Decatur Clinic Encore Athlete of the Month, Savanna Naylor.

Congratulations to the Decatur Encore Athlete of the Month, Savanna Naylor! Savanna is a junior at Decatur Heritage and is a member of the Lady Eagles basketball team. She has played on the basketball team for 4 years and achieved many awards including Regional MVP, All-Area, Offensive award and Most Improved. Savanna has a 4.0 GPA and plans to attend college on basketball scholarship to major in Criminal Justice. She is the daughter of Stacy and Jaimie Naylor. Keep up the good work, Savanna!

Muscle Shoals Athlete of the Month, Caroline Lindsey.

Congratulations to the Muscle Shoals Encore Athlete of the Month, Caroline Lindsey! Caroline is a multi-sport, junior, athlete at Muscle Shoals High School. She has been a member of the Varsity Tennis and Volleyball teams for a year now. With a 3.8/4.0 GPA, she plans to attend a 4 year university and major in nursing. Caroline is the daughter of Brian and Dana Lindsey. Good luck during the rest of your junior year, Caroline, and keep up the good work!

Clanton Patient of the Month, Brandon Craig.

Congratulations to Brandon Craig who was chosen as the Clanton Encore Patient of the Month! Brandon is junior at Verbena High School and an active member of the Verbena Be There: Anti-Bullying club. He is also enrolled and taking classes at Lecroy Technical School. Outside of his busy school life, Brandon works at Clanton’s local radio station, 98.3 WSMX, and is a volunteer with The Pentecost Fire Department. After high school, he wants to attend college for nursing and work his way up to being a doctor or study in sports medicine. Keep up the good work, Brandon!

Arab Clinic Athlete of the Month, Courtney Yarbrough.

Congratulations to Courtney Yarbrough for being chosen as the Arab Encore Athlete of the Month! Courtney is a junior, multi-sport athlete for the Brindlee Mountain High School Lady Lions. She has over 1,000 career points in basketball and was the first BMHS athlete to reach that goal! Courtney was also named the 2015 Marshall County MVP for basketball. Good Luck throughout the rest of basketball season, Courtney! Keep up the good work!

Diamondhead Athlete of the Month, Lane Ladner.

Congratulations to the Diamondhead Clinic Encore Athlete of the Month, Lane Ladner! Lane is a junior at Hancock high school and a member of the football team (#44). His sports awards consist of MVP, Defensive Player of the Week, and Defensive Captain. He plans to attend a four year university on scholarship and major in Sports Medicine. Lane is the son of Leah and James Ladner. Good luck and keep up the good work, Lane!

Congratulations to the Fayette Clinic Athlete of the Month, Sara Long. Sara is a Junior at South Lamar High School and played on the high school’s volleyball team, as well as the club volleyball team. She plans to attend Bevill State for two years and then transfer to the University of Alabama to major in Criminology. Sara is the daughter of Jeff and Mary Long.

Cullman Encore Athlete of the Month, Isaac Hardin

Congratulations to Isaac Hardin for being chosen as the Cullman Encore Athlete of the Month! Isaac is a Junior and plays baseball and football for Hanceville High School. He is the catcher and pitcher for the varsity baseball team, and plays center and middle linebacker for the varsity football team. Isaac has had a good baseball career with batting average of .352, 4 home runs, and 38RBIs. He would like to attend UAB after high school and play for the college baseball team. Good Luck Isaac!
