We are incredibly proud to celebrate Mrs. Melodie Wilson as our Patient of the Month at Encore Rehabilitation – Andalusia!

Six months ago, Mrs. Wilson came to us facing a massive challenge. After undergoing surgery to remove a tumor behind her knee, nerve involvement left her with severe nerve damage and constant chronic pain. A doctor even told her that she would most likely never walk again.

Mrs. Wilson refused to accept that limitation, and so did we!

Thanks to her incredible determination and the consistent, positive encouragement of her physical therapy team, she is defying the odds. Not only is she improving every single week, but she is WALKING!

“I look forward to my visit every week,” Mrs. Wilson says. “I am always pushed to do my best! I wish I could go every day because of the atmosphere of the clinic! They care so much about their patients and I just love it there.”
