Annie Kennedy, DPT
Annie is originally from Florence, Alabama, where she attended the University of North Alabama and received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in Pre-Professional Studies. After graduating from UNA, she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Annie has recently joined Encore as the new Clinic Director at Hayden. Before this, she was a traveling Physical Therapist. She has experience working with patients of all ages and areas of rehab and especially enjoys working with patients needing neurological rehab and post-op therapy.
Sylvia Kennedy, LPTA
Sylvia Kennedy has been with Encore Rehabilitation for five years. She graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Wallace State Community College. Since graduating, Sylvia has been dedicated to furthering her education through Wallace’s continuing education programs to expand her skill set. Sylvia is committed to providing the very best possible patient care. She has years of experience with various patient populations.

Happy National Physical Therapy Month to Lauren Luke, DPT!
Lauren is originally from Philadelphia, MS and attended Mississippi State University before graduating from Physical Therapy school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. She has worked for Encore Rehabilitation for five years in outpatient rehab. Prior to Encore, she has provided physical therapy care in the hospital/skilled nursing facility setting. She is Dry Needling certified and particularly loves working with patients following a surgery.
She shares, “My favorite part of my job is getting to be a cheerleader for my patients while they work towards their goals of returning to life before an injury. I remind them of just how far they’ve come, and then celebrate with them once they return to an active life. Some of my favorite things include cheering on the Mississippi State Bulldogs, reading on my porch, going to concerts, and Chick-fil-A.”

Celebrating National Physical Therapy Month with Ivy Long, LPTA!
Ivy Long is a Physical Therapist Assistant with Encore Rehabilitation-Eufaula. She earned her PTA degree from Southern Union State Community College.
Ivy enjoys her profession because it gives her a way to help others achieve a higher quality of life. Her favorite treatments include manual therapy, emphasizing massage. She hopes to become a clinical instructor for upcoming student PTAs and to also earn her Massage Therapy License in the near future.
Ivy is from Pittsview, AL and enjoys spending time with family, watching movies and playing video games w/ her significant other, Frank, art, crafting, crocheting, sewing, baking, and camping.

Mallory received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Emory University, and she is Dry Needling certified. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Auburn University. She has been a Clinician with Encore Rehabilitation for nine years.
Mallory currently provides care at Encore Rehabilitation-Opelika, where she treats patients for various conditions. In her personal time, Mallory enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to Lake Martin, and attending Auburn sporting events.

Currently, there are over 3.8 million breast cancer survivors in the United States.
All women face the risk of breast cancer. But with early detection and diagnosis, the chance of beating breast cancer is greater than 90 percent** according to current research. Early detection includes doing monthly breast self-exams and scheduling regular clinical breast exams and mammograms.

Mr. Dill recently underwent a hip replacement as well as knee arthroscopy. He states, “My goals for my rehab are to get back to running and perform a Kimchi squat to get back at peak physical condition.”
