Congratulations to Carlee Ke-a, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation–Enterprise!

Carlee is a dedicated flag football athlete at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College, where she is also pursuing a degree in Childhood Development.

Known for her active lifestyle and positive energy, Carlee enjoys playing sports, crafting, and shopping in her free time. Her drive both on and off the field reflects her commitment to excellence and personal growth.

Carlee is the daughter of Crystal Palisbo. 

We are so proud of Carlee!  She has put in a lot of work to recover from her sports injury and she is coming back strong!  We would like to recognize her hard work, determination, and accomplishments.

Encore Rehabilitation – Tupelo is proud to recognize Alexia Fleming of Tupelo Christian Preparatory School as our Athlete of the Month!

Alexia is a talented freshman who competes in Cross Country, Track, and Cheerleading. Even early in her athletic career, she has already built an impressive list of accomplishments. As an 8th grader, Alexia was a member of the Cross Country State Championship Team and was also crowned the 3200M State Champion. In 2025, she continued that success as a member of the 1A Cross Country State Championship Team.

Alexia has big goals for her future. She hopes to attend college on a track scholarship and plans to major in Physical Therapy. Her dedication, work ethic, and passion for athletics make her a great example for other student-athletes.

Outside of athletics, Alexia is the daughter of Jenifer Fleming.

Alexia, we are so proud of you and all of your accomplishments! We can’t wait to watch you continue to grow and succeed for years to come. Good luck this track season!

Tucker Cornelius wins match after receiving rehab from Encore Rehabilitation-Phenix City

Congratulations to Tucker Cornelius, a wrestler at Smith Station High School on his successful Physical Therapy journey!

Tucker came to Encore Rehabilitation-Phenix City with a concussion injury from a wrestling match that resulted in constant dizziness, nausea, fatigue, etc.

With the help of vestibular and balance training as well as strength and conditioning, Tucker has returned to his optimal prior level of function!

Tucker states, “I was able to rehabilitate my neck and decrease my pain, as well as improve my vision and balance that was affected by the concussion.”

Tucker competed in his first competition since the injury and won 1st Place in his division!

Tucker, we are so proud of your hard work and dedication! We are delighted to select you as Patient of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Phenix City!

Senior Lisa Jose Mathias is Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Russellville

Join us in congratulating Lisa Matias, our Encore Athlete of the Month – Russellville!

Lisa is a senior at Russellville High School where she proudly represents the Golden Tigers on the soccer field!⚽

After graduation, Lisa plans to attend Northwest-Shoals Community College before continuing her education at University of North Alabama to pursue a degree in Elementary Education. We have no doubt she will make an incredible teacher one day!

Outside of soccer, Lisa enjoys running, cooking, shopping, listening to music, hanging out with friends, and baking in her spare time. She is the daughter of Eduardo Jose Thomas.

Congratulations to Brannon Turner, Athlete of the Month at Encore Rehabilitation – Dothan!

Brannon is a 10th-grade student at Geneva County High School, where he plays football, baseball, and basketball for the Bulldogs. He injured his knee while playing football and has been putting in the hard work during therapy to get back to sports.

After high school, Brannon plans to join the Air Force to help pay for college. Eventually, he hopes to pursue a career in real estate. When he’s not in school, Brannon enjoys watching sports, playing Fortnite, and golfing.

Brannon, it has been a joy helping you through your therapy and seeing your dedication to your rehab as you work to get back to doing all the things you love. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors!

Meet Moses Mc Dowell! 

Mose is a motivated and energetic patient that always shows up with a good attitude and ready for a challenge! 

He currently competes in Basketball for Enterprise State Community College with plans to continue at the D1 level. He is majoring in Communication and Media. In his free time, he enjoys guitar, piano, and drums. 

We enjoyed working with him! Moses also has distinction of holding the current high jump mark on our wall!  Congratulations, Moses! We wish the very best as you continue in your academic and athletic pursuits!

Josiah Peterson is Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Eufaula!

We are very excited to recognize our Athlete of the Month, Josiah Peterson!

Josiah recently completed his Sophomore year at Eufaula High School, where he is a member of the Varsity Football Team. In the past, Josiah earned the JV Captain Award, and he continues to be an asset for the Tigers.

Upon completing high school, Josiah plans to attend Troy University and pursue a degree in Dentistry or Nursing.

He is the son of Shonta Peterson.

Ashton Blair is Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Pelham

Congratulations to Ashton Blair, our Athlete of the Month at Encore Rehabilitation – Pelham!

Ashton is a Junior at Thompson High School, where he plays baseball. He has earned several honors, including 2023 Honorable Mention All County-Pitcher and was also part of the team that reached the Final 4 in 2023 and the Elite 8 in 2024. Ashton plans to continue playing baseball in college while majoring in business. When he’s not on the field, he enjoys being outdoors and spending time with friends.

He is the son of Jason Blair and Ashley Morrow.

Ashton shared, “My treatment should be described as a success. Not only was I able to recover, but I was also given the opportunity to learn from my therapist, Suzanne. She was detailed on her work and really strives to get you back to moving at 100 percent. Suzanne is awesome!”
