As the welcoming face behind the scenes at our West Mobile clinic, Alexandra helps make sure every patient feels supported.

Here’s a little more about her in her own words:
“I come from a graphic design background and enjoy bringing a detail-oriented, organized approach to keeping our clinic running smoothly.

“I love helping patients feel welcome and fully supported, working closely with our amazing team of therapists with care plans that meet each patient’s needs and fit their schedules.

Meet Encore Rehabilitation Regional Director Jason Yarber, DPT, Cert. MDT, CIEE!

Jason earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He holds advanced credentials through the McKenzie Spine Institute, a vestibular certification from the American Institute of Balance, and certification as an Industrial Ergonomic Evaluator through OccuPro.

Jason currently serves as Regional Director for Encore Rehabilitation–Booneville and Encore Rehabilitation–Tupelo, bringing extensive leadership experience to both clinics. He has previously served as Director of Rehabilitation for a local hospital and was the owner of a private practice for 14 years. His clinical and consulting work includes ergonomic assessments, post-offer employment testing, and injury prevention and treatment services for regional industries.

A lifelong Booneville resident, Jason is deeply invested in serving Prentiss County and the surrounding communities. He is a devoted husband and father and an active member of his church.

Occupational Therapist Luke Ostergaard becomes Certified Hand Therapist

Encore Rehabilitation is proud to congratulate Luke Ostergaard, OTR/L, CEAS, Cert. DN — now officially a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)!

The CHT credential represents one of the highest levels of specialization in upper extremity rehabilitation. To become a CHT, therapists must complete extensive clinical experience in treating the hand and upper extremity (4,00+ hours) and pass a rigorous national board examination. This certification demonstrates advanced expertise in complex injuries and post-surgical care of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand.

About Luke:
Luke Ostergaard serves as the Clinic Director at Encore Rehabilitation–Brookley Field and as an Occupational Therapist at Encore Rehabilitation–West Mobile. His specialties include upper extremity rehabilitation, hand therapy, industrial/workers’ compensation rehabilitation, ergonomic assessment, and dry needling.

A dual graduate of the University of South Alabama, Luke holds a B.S. in Exercise Science and an M.S. in Occupational Therapy.

Since joining Encore in 2021, he has been committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and supporting individuals in regaining function and returning to meaningful activities.

At Encore Rehabilitation, our Industrial Rehab program is strengthened by experts who bring advanced clinical skills, industry knowledge, and trusted experience to every case.

Meet Enoch Jones, PT, DPT!

Enoch is a Regional Director with Encore Rehabilitation and a licensed Physical Therapist with extensive experience in industrial rehabilitation, sports and orthopedic rehab, dry needling, and blood flow restriction training. Enoch has been a Physical Therapist with Encore Rehabilitation for 17 years.

Enoch is certified in multiple Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) systems and frequently performs AMA 4th and 6th Edition Impairment Ratings. His background includes FCEs, impairment ratings, workplace and physical demands analysis, post-offer and pre-employment screenings, fit-for-duty evaluations, and agility testing — making him one of Encore’s most versatile evaluators in complex industrial cases.

He has presented at the Encore-Uhler Sports Medicine Symposium and the Alabama Workers’ Compensation Organization conferences, taught AMA impairment rating courses, and has been published in the Journal of Acute Care Physical Therapy.

Kaylea Johnson, LPTA, ATC, selected Clinic Director at Encore Rehabilitation-Sulligent

Meet Kaylea Johnson – Clinic Director, Physical Therapist Assistant, Athletic Trainer!

Kaylea has been a dedicated member of the Encore team since 2015, beginning her career as an Athletic Trainer before advancing to the role of Physical Therapist Assistant. Her journey in healthcare has been marked by a deep commitment to helping others recover, grow, and achieve their personal goals.

A 2010 graduate of Fayette County High School, Kaylea began her collegiate career at Snead State Community College, where she played two years of volleyball. She went on to earn her degree in Athletic Training from the University of West Alabama, followed by a Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Kent State University.

Throughout her time at Encore, Kaylea has served in various roles and has worked on and off at the Sulligent clinic since its opening over three years ago. She is honored to now serve as the Clinic Director for Encore Rehabilitation-Sulligent. With a passion for patient care, Kaylea’s mission is to impact every individual who walks through the clinic doors, helping them reach their goals, no matter how big or small.

Beyond the clinic, Kaylea is deeply rooted in her community. She coaches her two sons in youth sports, leads The Giving Closet a charitable organization she founded to support local families and she serves on the worship team at Central Church. She also continues her involvement in athletics as the Athletic Trainer for the Fayette County football team.

Kaylea is proud to continue serving the community of Sulligent and the surrounding areas. Her mission is to make a meaningful impact in the lives of each patient helping them reach their goals, no matter how big or small.

1.21 Gigawatts Strong! – Encore Rehabilitation Industrial Rehab Team

The Encore Rehabilitation Marketing Team had a great time attending the Alabama Workers’ Compensation Society (AWCS) “Back to the Future” Conference, held November 6–7, 2025, in Birmingham, AL!

Following the conference theme, our booth was “1.21 Gigawatts Strong!” We greatly enjoyed connecting with professionals across the workers’ compensation and rehabilitation industries!

As part of the AWCS community, we value the opportunity to network and share our specialized industrial rehabilitation services, helping injured workers safely return to work and supporting employers with effective recovery solutions.
