Flying high again at Encore Rehabilitation-West Mobile!

From hip pain to flying through an aerial in the clinic—Jayci has come a LONG way!

Congratulations to Jayci Rousseau, our Patient of the Month at Encore Rehabilitation-West Mobile!

Jayci is a full-time student and dance major at Southern Miss and has also been a Dixie Darling. Earlier this year, worsening hip pain from a CAM lesion made even walking difficult. Jayci began Physical Therapy near school and worked her way back to walking. When she came home for the summer, she transferred to Encore West Mobile ready for the next stage of her recovery: getting back to dance!

Brooke is back! Congratulations from Encore Rehabilitation-West Mobile!

Brooklyn Willard is back in the game—and we are here to celebrate!

After a hamstring injury sidelined her from softball and kept her from running, jumping, and participating in other athletic activities, Brooklyn dedicated herself to recovery at Encore Rehabilitation–West Mobile.

She rested, stayed focused, and put in the work—and it paid off! Brooklyn successfully worked her way back to the field and the sport she loves! We are so proud of her!

We are excited to recognize Miss Brooklyn Willard as Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation–West Mobile! Her determination, hard work, and positive attitude made her a joy to work with, and we are so proud to celebrate this strong comeback!

Jackson Kelley’s rehab success with Encore Rehabilitation-West Mobile

Some success stories are just too good not to share—Jackson Kelley is one of them!

After knee surgery, Jackson worked hard to return to work and the activities he enjoys. He showed up, put in the effort, and achieved excellent results!

Jackson kept the West Mobile team smiling throughout his recovery. He even brought treats for his favorite Physical Therapist Assistant, Amber LaConsay, hoping to convince her to take it easy on him. The treats were definitely a hit, and Jackson’s sense of humor made every visit more enjoyable.

He worked hard, kept everyone laughing, and made tremendous progress along the way.

We are proud of all that Jackson accomplished during his rehabilitation and love seeing him continue to do well!

Amazing Success for Ms. Hill with Encore Rehabilitation-Mobile West!

The comeback story of Ms. Shelia Hill is nothing short of AMAZING!

Ms. Hill came to Encore Rehabilitation-West Mobile with neck and back pain, along with multiple health issues that had been worsening and slowly disabling her over the past two years.

When she started Physical Therapy, she was unable to drive, depended on a walker for mobility, needed help getting dressed each day, and was only able to do very minimal cooking and cleaning. She would get short of breath just walking from room to room. She could not get up from the floor if she fell or even pick up a small object from the floor without severe back pain from bending.

Ms. Shelia was struggling daily with things many of us take for granted.

Ms. Shelia has completely turned her life around with Physical Therapy!

She dedicated herself to her rehab, stayed diligent with her home exercise program, and after about a month of rehab, she was able to join a gym and continue exercising beyond her home program.

Today, Ms. Shelia is able to cook, clean, and dress herself independently! She is no longer using an assistive device and is walking regularly for exercise! She can now get up and down from the floor without assistance and has found joy in movement again!

Ms. Shelia has surpassed every original goal we set and continues breaking her own personal goals. We are so proud of how far she has come and cannot wait to see what she accomplishes next.

Keep it up, Ms. Shelia!!! We wish you all the best!

Ms. Barry is in the Patient Spotlight for Encore Rehabilitation-West Mobile!

Christina Barry is truly a Spotlight Patient! Following hip surgery, Christina committed herself fully to both Physical Therapy and her home exercise program over the course of several months.

Through hard work, consistency, and determination, she is now discharging as a ROCKSTAR and returning to full-time teaching along with the social and recreational activities she enjoys!

We are incredibly proud of the progress Christina has made throughout her recovery journey and grateful she trusted Encore West Mobile with her care!

Meet Michael Kelley!

Mr. Michael completed rehabilitation following a significant left shoulder injury that required rotator cuff repair, along with biceps tendon and labral repair. Through dedication and hard work, he successfully returned to all the things he enjoys!

Mr. Michael came to Encore Rehabilitation-West Mobile with a smile on his face, joy in his heart, and consistently made therapy enjoyable for himself, his therapist, and everyone around him! He is a hard worker, and we are very proud of the effort and commitment he put into his rehabilitation.
