“I had a bad wreck in January. I broke both femurs and dislocated my left hip. Around June, my hip started to hurt, and the pain became worse every day. In August, I visited the doctor and found I had avascular necrosis in my hip. In September, I had hip replacement surgery and then rehab care at Encore. From wheelchair to walking, we are proud to have Mr. Collins as our Patient of the Month!
Mr. Ricky Collins had ruptured bilateral quad tendons and received a double quad repair surgery. When he began rehab with Encore Rehabilitation-Dothan, he was in a wheelchair. Now he is walking again without assistance!

Suzie Reese suffered a fracture to both bones of her lower leg while sliding into home plate during a softball tournament. She states, “I am eager to get back to enjoying all my activities. I chose Encore because I know some of the staff and I like them.”

Erika is a Senior at Russellville High School where she performs in the Marching Band while maintaining a 4.0 GPA! She was a member of the 5A Marching Band 2021 State Championship!
Erika enjoys dancing and spending time with family and friends. She plans to pursue an Associate Degree in Science at Wallace State Community College to pursue a career as an Ultrasound Technician after high school graduation.
