Dakota is a Senior and competes in Basketball, Baseball, and Track for the Good Hope High School Raiders! He has been selected All-County in Basketball. In his free time, he enjoys fishing. His future plans include pursuing a degree and career as an electrical engineering. 

Dakota is the son of Gidgett and Danny Overton.

Job Shadow Day with Dothan Tech and Encore Rehabilitation-Dothan

The future is bright! Encore Rehabilitation had the honor of having Hannah Cooper and Shaliyah Walker at our Dothan clinic last week. They are two students from Dothan Tech that have an interest in the field of physical rehabilitation.

While with us, the ladies viewed an evaluation, learned the differences between Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy and observed about rehab treatments with post-surgical patients. 

Thank you, Dothan Tech, for giving us the opportunity to share our passion for our professions! We were delighted to have Hannah and Shaliyah with us!

Ivey Maddox is Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman

We are proud to select Ivey Maddox as Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman!

Ivey’s sports are Basketball and Volleyball and she excels in both! She was chosen All-State First Team in both Basketball and Volleyball, two years each. She has over 1,000 career basketball points and over 1,000 kills and digs in volleyball. Currently she is a Senior at Good Hope High School but next year she will be playing for the UAH Chargers Basketball while pursuing a secondary education degree.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, guitar, and hanging out with friends and family.

Ivey is the daughter of Melissa and Jody Maddox.

Chase competes in Football and Baseball for Houston Academy where he is a Senior. Chase was the recipient of the Coaches Award in Baseball and has the honor of having the highest GPA in the Football Class his junior year. He plans to pursue an engineering degree at Auburn University but for now he enjoys baseball, fishing, and refereeing.

Chase is the son of Jacqueline King.

Barrett Hill is Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Moulton

Barrett is a remarkable young man who has been diligent with his rehab in the clinic and has gone above and beyond with his team, attending early morning workouts, although he could not yet participate. He has given great effort to his home exercise program, and as a result, his mobility and strength have improved. We look forward to watching him in the upcoming East Lawrence High School baseball season!

Barret enjoys playing baseball as well as duck and deer hunting. He plans to pursue a nursing degree at UNA and then on to CRNA school.

Congratulations to our Athlete of the Month, Drew Colon!

Drew is a Junior at Wicksburg High School, where he competes in Baseball for the Panthers. He has been selected Super 12 by the Dothan Eagle. He plans to continue his baseball career at the D1 level while pursuing a degree as an orthodontist or dentist. In his free time, he likes to play baseball and hang out with friends and family.

Drew is the son of Ann Colon and Jesus Colon.
