Following hip surgery, Ms. Crawford was initially apprehensive about starting Physical Therapy. However, thanks to the compassionate and supportive team at Encore Rehabilitation-Dothan East, she quickly felt at ease and began her road to recovery with confidence!

“They have helped me tremendously,” she shares. After just two months of therapy, Ms. Crawford is doing well and returning to the activities she enjoys most!

Congratulations to Jim David Johnson, Athlete of the Month at Encore Rehabilitation- Dothan East!

Jim David, a senior at Headland High School, initially injured his shoulder during football season but worked hard in rehab to finish the season with his team. After the season, he underwent shoulder surgery and has put in a lot of effort during therapy to fully recover and return to all his activities.

In his free time, Jim David enjoys hunting and working out. After high school, he plans on pursuing an electrician degree at Wallace Community College.

Jim David is the son of Phyllis Johnson.

We are so proud of all your hard work, Jim David! It was a pleasure getting to be a part of your rehab process and seeing your dedication to your sport and your rehabilitation!

Olivia is a rising Freshman at Ashford High school where she competes in Volleyball and Softball for the Yellow Jackets. She has been selected to Team USA All-American. Post-high school graduation plans include playing softball and pursing a degree at Oklahoma University.

Emily is a multisport athlete competing in Softball, Flag Football, and Basketball. She plans to continue Softball at Florida State University while completing a Marine Biology degree. She would also like to play for Team USA. Her interests include softball, art, fishing, hunting, riding horses, and playing with her cat and dog.

Emily is the daughter of Joel and Casey Humphrey.

Mr. Sigler has dealt with chronic low back pain for years. He recently received treatment with us after a flare-up. He shares, “The staff is incredible. They’re knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. They are like FAMILY!”

Katherine Knight gets back to acting after rehab with Encore Rehabilitation-Dothan East!

After a recent total knee replacement, Katherine Knight began Physical Therapy with Encore Rehabilitation-Dothan East. She has made great progress and is now ready to get back to her regular activities, including acting with SEACT with her new knee! She says, “Kristie, Summer, and Michelle have inspired me to achieve my goals. They are my sisters from another mother!”
