Tuscaloosa Encore Athlete of the Month, Madalynn Langham.

Congratulations to the Tuscaloosa Encore Athlete of the Month, Madalynn Langham! Madalynn is a freshman multi-sport athlete at Hale County High School. She has been a member of the Varsity Softball team for two years, travel softball for 2 years, competitive softball for 8 years. You can find her on the field or on the court wearing jersey #12 or #44. Madalynn has won the Best Defensive player, MVP for JV her 7th grade year, and has been a member of the 2014 and 2015 Softball State Championship teams. She has a 3.5 GPA and plans to play college softball on a scholarship and become a flight nurse. Madalynn is the daughter of Steven Langham and Gigi Barnette.

Alabama Elite Preview Invitations

Congratulations to all of the athletes that received Alabama Elite Preview Invitations these past couple of weeks. The “AEP” will begin on March 5, 2016. It is a preview of 80 of the best high school basketball (2017, 2018, 2019) players in Alabama.

Here are the athletes who were invited that are affiliated with Encore Rehabilitation (through our Sports Medicine program in their school).

Tuscaloosa Encore Athlete of the Month, T’Antre Spence.

Congratulations to the Tuscaloosa Encore Athlete of the Month, T’Antre Spence!  T’Antre is a senior athlete at Hale County High School.  He has been on the Varsity football team for 5 years now and wears the jersey number 70.  T’Antre’s sports awards consist of the 2x Upfront award, Come to Work award and the All Rivals award.  He currently has a 3.4 GPA and plans to attend college to become a Sports Athletic Director.  T’Antre is the son of Latonya Spence.

Tuscaloosa Clinic Athlete of the Month, Jake Daugherty.

Jake Daugherty 1 Congratulations to Jake Daugherty who was chosen as the Tuscaloosa Clinic Athlete of the Month! Jake is a junior athlete at Hale County high school in Moundville, Alabama.  He has been a member of the Wildcats Football team for 2 years now and wears the jersey number 62.  Jake has also won the Defensive Lineman of the Year award at his school.  After graduation, he plans to attend a university to major in Chemical Engineering.  Jake is the son of Shane and Alison Daugherty.  Keep up the good work Jake, good luck this season!

Congratulations to Gary Wyatt who was chosen as the Tuscaloosa Encore Athlete of the Month! Gary is a senior at Hale County High School. He has been a member of the varsity football team for 4 years now and wears the jersey number 60. He plays multiple positions including offensive and defensive lineman. Gary has a 3.8 GPA, plans to attend Auburn University for Veterinarian Medicine, and pursue a doctorate degree in that as well. He is also planning to go into the mission field and use his degree to help others. Gary is the son of Michelle and Jeffrey Tinney, and and Gary and Kelly Wyatt. Congratulations again and good luck, Gary!

Congratulations to Savanna Holmes who was chosen as this month’s Tuscaloosa Athlete of the Month! Savanna is a freshman, multi-sport athlete at Hale County High School in Tuscaloosa, AL. She has played softball and volleyball for three seasons now and has already won multiple awards including the 2014 ASWA Alabama Softball Player of the Year, 2014 ASWA Alabama Softball Pitcher of the Year, a AHSAA 2A State Championship and the 2014 AHSAA State All Tournament MVP. (Let us remind you she is still a freshman) After she graduates, Savannah wants to attend college on a softball scholarship and major in Athletic Training. Savannah is the daughter of Chris and Sherri Holmes. Keep up the good work, Savanna!
