Drew Shepard is Patient of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Opelika

We are excited to celebrate our Patient of the Month, Drew Shepard, as he completes his Physical Therapy journey!

For the past two months, Drew has been committed to healing from a separated AC Joint in his shoulder, along with tendonitis and bursitis. When Drew realized he would need Physical Therapy, he chose Encore to help him build back strength and mobility.

Rehab Returns Mr. Lane to his active lifestyle~Encore Rehabilitation-Opelika

Join us in celebrating David Lane as Patient of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Opelika! 

Mr. Lane recently underwent his second ACL/meniscus surgery, but that wasn’t stopping him from getting back to the active lifestyle he enjoyed!

After his surgery, his surgeon highly recommended that he pursue Physical Therapy with Encore Rehabilitation. Mr. Lane has been working diligently in his rehabilitation program, and he is excited to return to Muy Thai, Jiu Jitsu, and wrestling!

Qumran Wilson is Patient of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Opelika

“I needed Physical Therapy because I had an injury at a trampoline park. In my injury, I tore my ACL, PCL, and meniscus and severed my popliteal artery, all from a fully dislocated knee, because I landed wrong. I was in a terrible position where I wasn’t strong. I lost a lot of muscle, and in order to grow and function again, the only route was Physical Therapy. My doctor sent me to Encore Rehabilitation-Opelika. Brooklyn Forbus is Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Opelika

Do you know our Athlete of the Month, Brooklyn Forbus?

Brooklyn is a Freshman at Lee-Scott Academy. She is a multi-sport athlete competing in Cheer, Soccer, and Gymnastics. She was selected as a 2023 All-American in Cheer. After graduation, she would like to cheer at Auburn University while pursuing her degree. In her downtime, she enjoys cheer, soccer, gymnastics, and track.

Brooklyn is the daughter of Jason and Alisha Forbus.

We are so proud of her accomplishments and commitment to sports, and we can’t wait to watch her continue to grow. Keep up the great work, Brooklyn!

We would like to wish Mallory Riggs, DPT, a Happy National Physical Therapy Month!

Mallory received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Emory University, and she is Dry Needling certified. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Auburn University. She has been a Clinician with Encore Rehabilitation for nine years.

Mallory currently provides care at Encore Rehabilitation-Opelika, where she treats patients for various conditions. In her personal time, Mallory enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to Lake Martin, and attending Auburn sporting events.
