Meet Erika Cruz our Encore Rehabilitation-Russellville Athlete of the Month!
Erika is a Senior at Russellville High School where she performs in the Marching Band while maintaining a 4.0 GPA! She was a member of the 5A Marching Band 2021 State Championship!
Erika enjoys dancing and spending time with family and friends. She plans to pursue an Associate Degree in Science at Wallace State Community College to pursue a career as an Ultrasound Technician after high school graduation.
Erika is the daughter of Claudia Vidal-Rivera.

Levi is a Freshman on the Baseball team at Bevill State Community College. He can be seen wearing #18 on the field. Levi is pursuing a degree in Business Management. He enjoys hunting and fishing when he is not practicing or playing baseball.

LaQuateus “Quate” Justice is the Patient of the Month at Encore Rehabilitation at Andalusia Health Physical Therapy.
LaQuateus attended Opp High School in the 90’s. After high school, he received a football scholarship to Troy University. While he was there, he suffered a career ending knee injury. He developed severe osteoarthritis and had to have a total knee replacement. Quate has worked very hard to return to his normal way of life. Ashlyn Nixon suffered from a torn labrum which required surgery and then Physical Therapy. She chose Encore Rehabilitation–Phenix City to be her rehab provider. She shares, “Encore is close to home. Happy National Physical Therapy Month to Carol Haag, PT!
Carol grew up in Alabama and attended Auburn University. She graduated from Physical Therapy School at the University of South Alabama. She has been a licensed Physical Therapist in Alabama and Florida for 44 years!
Carol has had opportunities to work in outpatient orthopedic clinics, acute care settings, inpatient rehab stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, skilled nursing care, and home health. She has helped coach wheelchair track and field teams and wheelchair basketball. She has provided service to the MS Society and the MDA in addition to being a part of Camp Assca during its first two years of operation.
Carol presently lives on Gantt Lake in Covington County. She enjoys fishing and water activities with her husband and grandchildren while being active in her local church.
