Tyler Upton continues his rehab journey with Encore Rehabilitation-Winfield

In August 2019, Tyler Upton was involved in a very serious car accident. As a result of the accident, Tyler suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury. After spending three months hospitalized at UAB, he started an intensive rehab program at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

In March 2020, Tyler returned home to Winfield and continued his recovery process at Encore Rehabilitation-Winfield. At Encore, Tyler continues to regain his skills in balance, coordination, and agility. He has made extraordinary progress since his accident!

We are very, very proud of Tyler! We know with his persistence and dedication with his rehab, he will continue to heal and recover. Keep going, Tyler! We LOVE to see you move!

Maddie graduated from the PTA program at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and is originally from Gautier, Mississippi.

Maddie tells us, “I became a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant because of a lifelong interest in anatomy, a love and appreciation for exercise, and a desire to help people improve their quality of life.”

Encore Rehabilitation-Winfield is pleased to announce Breanna Dean, DPT, as the new Clinic Director!

Breanna is a graduate of Winfield City High School. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science from The University of West Alabama and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Alabama State University.

Breanna has been a Clinician with Encore Rehabilitation-Winfield for 3 years. She is a native of Winfield and enjoys serving and giving back to her hometown.

Breanna is married to Caleb Dean and has one child. In her spare time, Breanna enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching Alabama athletics, and working out.
