Meet Our New Clinic Director – Carson Lindsey, DPT !

We are proud to introduce Carson Lindsey as the Clinic Director at Encore Rehabilitation – Hayden!

Carson earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from The University of Alabama and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Samford University. A native of Kennedy, Alabama, he now resides in Hoover.

Carson brings valuable experience to Hayden, having previously provided patient care at Encore Rehabilitation-Vestavia and Encore Rehabilitation-Bessemer locations.

Outside the clinic, he enjoys following college football and playing golf.

Happy National Physical Therapy Month to Annie and Sylvia!

Annie Kennedy, DPT

Annie is originally from Florence, Alabama, where she attended the University of North Alabama and received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in Pre-Professional Studies. After graduating from UNA, she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Annie has recently joined Encore as the new Clinic Director at Hayden. Before this, she was a traveling Physical Therapist. She has experience working with patients of all ages and areas of rehab and especially enjoys working with patients needing neurological rehab and post-op therapy.

Sylvia Kennedy, LPTA

Sylvia Kennedy has been with Encore Rehabilitation for five years. She graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Wallace State Community College. Since graduating, Sylvia has been dedicated to furthering her education through Wallace’s continuing education programs to expand her skill set. Sylvia is committed to providing the very best possible patient care. She has years of experience with various patient populations.

Encore Rehabilitation-Hayden Clinical Director Emily LaRue, DPT, recently competed in the Oak Barrel Half Marathon in Lynchburg, Tennessee! Emily says, “I love to run! I do 5Ks regularly but only one half marathon a year.”

Recently, Emily ran in the Decatur First Priority 5K Run were she came in first in her age group!

Congratulations to Emily LaRue, DPT, for completing the Nashville Spartan Sprint and Super Weekend challenge!
Emily says, “I had a great time running and playing in the mud at the Spartan Sprint in Tennessee! Fitness is fun when it is shared with friends!”
The Nashville Spartan Sprint was held September 22-23, 2018 at Milky Way Farm in Pulaski, Tennessee. The course was 4 miles with 25 obstacles and lots of mud!
Emily is a Physical Therapist and the Clinical Director at Encore Rehabilitation-Hayden.
