Lindsay McCollum is Patient of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Hamilton

Say hello to Lyndsay McCollum, Patient of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Hamilton!

Ms. McCollum suffered an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) tear and had to have ACL Reconstruction Surgery to repair the ligament, followed by Physical Therapy to regain her walking and balance. She made great progress with her rehab and is now back to doing the things she loves!

Two things she loves about Encore? “I appreciate the convenience of being able to do therapy close to home and work. Encore works with my crazy schedule to help me find the best appointment times,” says Ms. McCollum.

We will miss you, Tom Coleman, PT

Encore Rehabilitation, Inc. would like to extend condolences to the family and friends of Tom Coleman, PT.

Tom was a dedicated Physical Therapist with Encore Rehabilitation for almost 24 years. He was the Director of Encore Rehabilitation-Decatur for many years before becoming a Regional Director for Muscle Shoals, Russellville, Moulton, Priceville, Decatur, and most recently, Athens, Hartselle, and Fayetteville (TN). Tom loved sports and was involved on the sidelines of local teams and Alabama High School Athletic Association championships.

Tom was committed to providing excellent rehab to his patients and was a loyal friend to his coworkers. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be at Shelton Funeral Home in Decatur Monday, March 13, 2023 from 6-7 pm and a Celebration of Life from 7-8 pm. All are welcome to attend.

Lindsey Murr is Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Athens!

Congratulations to Lindsey Murr, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Athens!

Lindsey is a Senior at Lindsay Lane Christian Academy where she competes in Volleyball and Basketball for the Lions. She has been selected All-Area Volleyball for 3 years; All-County Basketball; All-Area Basketball for 4 years; 1,500 points award; and 500 rebounds award. Lindsey is also the receipt of a basketball scholarship. Way to go, Lindsey!

Her personal interests include running her own business, going to the gym, journaling, art, and shopping. Her future plans are to pursue a Business Major degree at Blue Mountain Christian University while competing on the basketball team.

Lindsey is the daughter of Steve and Angela Murr.
