Welcome to Allison Lowman, Clinic Director at Encore Rehabilitation-Leeds/Moody!

Welcome to Allison Lowman, PT, DPT, Cert. DN, our new Clinic Director at Encore Rehabilitation–Leeds/Moody!

Allison is a talented Physical Therapist who brings a strong orthopedic background and a passion for helping others move and feel their best!

Her journey began at Wallace State Hanceville, where she earned an Associate of Science and played collegiate softball. She then transferred to Samford University, completing her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science while continuing her softball career. She later returned to Samford to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).

Before becoming a Physical Therapist, Allison worked for three years as an Orthopedic Medical Assistant, gaining valuable hands-on experience in patient care and orthopedic specialty. She now focuses on injury prevention, recovery, and helping patients return to the activities they love.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys coaching, staying active with CrossFit, volunteering in church outreach, and spending time with her family.

We are delighted to have Allison join the Encore Rehabilitation Family!

Say hello to Jonathan Creel, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Leeds/Moody! 

Jonathan is an upcoming senior at Pell City High School where he competes in Football and Wrestling for the Panthers. He plans to pursue a degree in business and to be in the NFL. In his free time, he enjoys sports, being with friends, and spending time outside.

We are very proud of you, Jonathan, and we know you will continue to succeed in sports, school and beyond.

Callie competes in Softball for the Moody Jr. High Blue Devils! Last year she was selected County All-Stars! She enjoys softball, being at the lake, hanging out with friends, shopping, and walking.

Callie is the daughter of Samantha Harris and John King.

Shania Colton, PT, DPT, is the Clinic Director at Encore Rehabilitation-Leeds/Moody

Meet Encore Rehabilitation-Leeds/Moody Clinic Director, Shania Colton!

Shania obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Alabama State University.

She has experience in general outpatient orthopedics, working with patients with sport-related injuries, joint replacements, ligaments/tendon repairs, motor vehicle accidents, and spine pain.

She also treats pelvic health patients in the areas of urinary incontinence (bladder leakage), prolapse, and sexual dysfunction.

In addition, Shania is Certified in Dry Needling to reduce soft tissue pain and limitations.

Shania shares, “My most enjoyable thing about being a Physical Therapist is seeing the excitement on my patients’ faces when they reach their functional goals.”
