He is a member of the Bearcats Varsity football team and wears jersey #13. Da’juan is a WR, OLB, and FS and has rightly won the Coach’s Offense Award. Congratulations to the Long Beach Encore Athlete of the Month, Anastasia Thibodeaux. Anastasia is a senior athlete at Long Beach High School in Mississippi. She has been a member of the Varsity Lady Bearcats Cross Country and Track teams for 6 years now. Anastasia has built up quite an impressive awards list during her high school sports career: Cross Country MVP for 4 years in a row, 4x District Champion in Cross Country, Cross Country All-State runner for 5 years, and made top 3 in the State High Jump event.
After graduation next spring, Anastasia plans to run cross country and track in college while obtaining her degree in communications. She is the daughter of Katherine and Joseph Thibodeaux. Keep up the good work, Anastasia, and good luck your senior year!
Congratulations to the Long Beach Encore Athlete of the Month, Mackenzie Fleming! Mackenzie is a Freshman athlete at Long Beach High School. She is a member of the Varsity Bearcats softball team and wears jersey number 15. Mackenzie has already received some pretty impressive awards including the defensive player of the year award in 7th grade, and MVP of the year in 8th grade. After graduation, she plans to major in sports medicine. Keep up the good work Mackenzie!

He has been a member of the Varsity Pirates Football and Basketball teams for 2 years and wears jersey #1. Gerald’s sports awards consist of the Basketball Defensive Player, Football Most Valuable Offensive Player, and Most Valuable Player. He currently has a 3.6 GPA and plans to attend college to major in Sports Medicine and then go on to play in the NFL. Gerald is the son of Gerald Jones Sr. and Tiffany Spencer.
