“I have seen a significant difference in my pain level since starting my therapy at Encore Rehabilitation. I was in constant pain (a level 4-6). I was waking up at night from sharp pains and could not go down steps normally. After traction and stabilizing exercises, I no longer wake up with sharp pain and I can go down steps normally. I have noticed a significant reduction in overall pain. Mallory, the Physical Therapist, has been a gem.” ~ Elizabeth Bonifas, Patient of the Month, Encore Rehabilitation-Phenix City

I began working with my high school athletic trainer to overcome my injury. After that, I started going to athletic training summer camps at universities when I was in high school to help prepare me for becoming an athletic training student in college. My favorite part of being an Athletic Trainer is the relationships I develop with my student athletes. We become like family. I love assisting them through their injury recovery and then seeing how happy they are when they can return to playing sports!”
Carla’s personal interests include spending time outdoors and with her dogs. She loves coffee and enjoys experimenting with different flavors and ways to make coffee.
