Congratulations to the West Point Encore Athlete of the Month, Chamiya Brownlee! Chamiya is a sophomore athlete at West Point High School in Mississippi. She has been a member of the Green Wave softball team for 3 years now and wears the jersey number 16. Her awards consist of MVP, Golden Glove award, and 2 year letterman. Chamiya has a 4.0 GPA and plans to attend Mississippi State University or Ole Miss to major in Physical Therapy, Athletic training, or Pediatrics. She is the daughter of William and Latoria Brownlee. Columbia Clinic Athlete of the Month, Charlie James.

Congratulations to Charlie James who has been chosen as the Columbia Clinic Athlete of the Month! Charlie is a multi-sport, Junior, athlete at Columbia High School. He has played on the varsity basketball, football, and baseball teams for 4 years now. You can find him wearing the jersey numbers 10 and 26. He has a 3.5 GPA and plans to go to Mississippi State University after graduation to pursue a degree in Sports Medicine. Charlie is the son of Charlie and Belfry James. Diamondhead Athlete of the Month, Allen Sekinger.

Congratulations to Allen Sekinger who was chosen as the Diamondhead Clinic Athlete of the Month! Allen is a Sophomore at Hancock High School in Kiln, MS. He is a member of the Varsity Hawks football team and wears the jersey number 49. Allen has a 3.7 GPA and plans to attend MGCC to major in engineering. Allen is the son of Allen and Jessica Sekinger.

Diamondhead Clinic Athlete of the Month, Desarae Necaise.

Congratulations to the August Diamondhead Encore Athlete of the Month, Desarae Necaise! Desarae is a freshman athlete at Hancock High School in Kiln, MS. She plays volleyball and basketball for the Lady Hawks. You’ll find her on the court wearing jersey #5 during Volleyball season and jersey #3 during Basketball season. So far in her high school sports career, Desarae has received 2 Volleyball certificates, 2 trophies for basketball and travel ball, along with the “Most Active” award. Her future plans are to attend South Alabama to acquire a Radiology degree. Desarae is the daughter of Sherri Favre and Dennin Necaise.

Diamondhead Encore Athlete of the Month, Kellin Cuevas.

Congratulations to Kellin Cuevas who was chosen as the Diamondhead Encore Athlete of the Month! Kellin is a sophomore at Hancock High School in Kiln, MS. He is a multi-sport athlete- playing football (#72) and basketball (#22) for the Hawks. He has recently proven his athleticism in receiving the “Most Athletic” award. After Kellin graduates, he plans to attend Michigan State to obtain a degree in Engineering. Kellin is the son of Anthony and Pamela Cuevas.

Oak Grove Clinic Athlete of the Month, Carlee Blakaney.

Congratulations to Carlee Blakaney who was chosen as this month’s Oak Grove Clinic AOTM! Carlee is a sophomore at Oak Grove High School in Hattiesburg, MS. She is a 14 year old, multi-sport athlete for the Lady Warriors. Carlee plays defense for the soccer team and is an interchangeable catcher, 1st, and 3rd baseman for the softball team. After graduation, she plans to attend a major university to become a veterinarian. Keep up the good work, Carlee! Good luck!

Congratulations to Nathan LaCroix who was chosen as the Diamondhead Clinic Athlete of the Month! Nathan is a Junior, multi-sport, athlete at Hancock High School in Kiln, MS. He is a member of the Cross Country team and Soccer team. He wears the jersey number 19 and is also team captain for the Cross Country team. After his senior year, he plans to attend Ole Miss for Law. Nathan is the son of Kevin and Marie LaCroix. Keep up the good work, Nathan! Good Luck your Senior year!

Winfield Encore Athlete of the Month, Logan Bradford

Congratulations to Logan Bradford who is the Winfield Encore Athlete of the Month! Logan is a junior, multi-sport athlete at Winfield High School. He has been a member of the Pirates varsity basketball (#3) and baseball (#14) teams for four years now. Throughout his sports career, he has achieved multiple awards including Most RBIs and Most On Base Percentage in baseball, as well as, Mr. Hustle ’13-’14 in basketball. Apart from his sports achievements, Logan has a 4.0 GPA and plans to play baseball at Mississippi State while majoring in engineering. Logan is the son of Tim and Michelle Bradford. Oak Grove Encore Athlete of the Month, Zach Bufkin.

Congratulations to Zach Bufkin who was chosen as the Oak Grove Clinic Athlete of the Month! Zach is a senior at Presbyterian Christian School in Hattiesburg, MS. He was named captain of the Bobcats football team and played as a right tackle. After graduation, Zach plans to attending Mississippi State University and major in Engineering. Diamondhead Encore Athlete of the Month, Ariel Whavers.

Congratulations to the Diamondhead Clinic Encore Athlete of the Month, Ariel Whavers! Ariel is a senior athlete at Hancock High School in Kiln, MS. She is a guard for the Hawks women’s basketball team (#5) and has been a Dew Elite 16U Division Champion, as well as, received the AAU “Sports for All, Forever” award. Her future plans are to walk-on to a major university basketball team and major in nursing. Good luck this season, Ariel, keep up the good work!
