JJ is a Senior at Dadeville where he competes as a multi-sport athlete in Baseball, Football, and Track. He has been named Player of the Week. He enjoys sports, working out, and playing video games. He plans to play college football while pursuing his degree.

Say hello to Encore Sports Medicine Athletic Trainer Carla Ikert! We are proud to have her with us at Encore Rehabilitation-Eufaula!
Carla received her B.A. in Athletic Training from Carthage College and her M.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Biomechanics from Southeastern University. She has been an Athletic Trainer for four years. She is also an IASTM Certified Practitioner.
Carla shares, “My journey to become an Athletic Trainer started when I was in high school and was injured myself my freshman year. I began working with my high school athletic trainer to overcome my injury. After that, I started going to athletic training summer camps at universities when I was in high school to help prepare me for becoming an athletic training student in college. My favorite part of being an Athletic Trainer is the relationships I develop with my student athletes. We become like family. I love assisting them through their injury recovery and then seeing how happy they are when they can return to playing sports!”
Carla’s personal interests include spending time outdoors and with her dogs. She loves coffee and enjoys experimenting with different flavors and ways to make coffee.

Congratulations to Breelyn Nicholson, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation – Petal!
Breelyn is a Senior and Gymnast for the Petal High School Panthers. Breelyn has been participating in Gymnastics for 11 years. She is a 6-time State Champion, 2-time Regional Qualifier, and currently a Level 9 Gymnast.
Her future plans include attending LSU to major in business and eventually open her own gymnastics gym. She enjoys singing, drawing and art.
Breelyn is the daughter of David Nicholson.

Say hello to Andre Galloway, our Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Dothan!
Andre plays Football and Basketball for the Headland Rams. He has received the Hustle Award for his team. His future plans include playing college football and specializing in Respiratory Therapy or Physical Therapy. In his spare time, he enjoys hanging out with friends, playing video games, and playing football.
Andre started in Physical Therapy with Encore Rehabilitation-Dothan after he hurt his ankle playing football. Having therapy after his injury has helped him regain strength and mobility. Andre always comes prepared to perform his best during therapy. Andre says, ”Encore was the best choice ever! Love the therapists!”
Andre is the son of Andre Galloway.

Congratulations to Zyan Moore, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Decatur!
Zyan is a Freshman at Austin High School. She competes in Basketball, Softball, and Volleyball. She has been selected for the Alabama All-Stars Basketball Championship Team; National Championship in Softball; and won First Place in Free Throw Hoop Shoot.
Her personal interests include playing sports, coloring, math, and working out. She plans to play college basketball and pursue a career as a Veterinarian.
Zyan is the daughter of Shaneka Hams and Kenneth Moore.

Ethan is a multi-sport athlete competing in Football, Basketball, and Track for the Raiders. He has been selected All-County, All-Area, and First Team All-State. His personal interest include playing sports and cornhole. He plans to go into the agriculture or construction fields after graduation.
Ethan is the son of Monica Fite and Michael Anderson.

Kyle is a Senior at Smiths Station where he competes as a multi-sport athlete. His sports are Football, Track and Wrestling. He has been named All-American twice, State Placer three times, and City Champ three times. His personal interests are working out, riding bikes, and hanging out with family and friends. He plans to continue wrestling in college and then serve as a Green Beret with the US Army Special Forces.
Kyle is the son of Caroline and Russell Watson.
