Pat recently was experiencing back pain along with some balance issues. She began Physical Therapy at Encore Rehabilitation-Winfield to regain strength, endurance, balance and coordination in her lower extremities. Pat worked on her flexibility as well to help alleviate her back pain.

Say hello to Michael Wicks, Jr., Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation Center Point!! Michael recently graduated from Huffman High School, where he competed in Football and Track & Field. Looking toward his future, Michael has received 38 academic scholarship offers totaling more than 3 million dollars. He has committed to further his academic career at St. Olaf (Minnesota), where he will also play Football and major in Computer Science. His personal interests include listening to music, weightlifting, and developing his business. Michael is the son of Natasha Amerson.

Car accident to walking again ~ Tony Moore with Encore Rehabilitation at Andalusia Health Physical Therapy

On October 31, 2022, Tony Moore was on his way to work when he was involved in a horrific car accident. He had multiple injuries and was on life support for many days. He had surgery to reconstruct his pelvis and remained in the hospital for several weeks.

He came home confined to a wheelchair. Mr. Moore chose Encore Rehabilitation-Andalusia Health Physical Therapy to be his Rehab Provider. A few months of weekly visits to Encore has seen Mr. Moore progress from a wheelchair to a walker, two crutches, and now one forearm crutch! We are very proud of Mr. Moore’s dedication to improving his health and being consistent with his rehab.

He shares, “I can’t thank Encore enough for everything. Encore has treated me like family. I give all the credit for my better health to the good Lord and Encore at Andalusia. If you are looking for a great place for Physical Therapy, choose Encore! They are fantastic!”

Nathan graduated from the University of South Mississippi with a Bachelor in Biological Sciences and from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He has worked at Pascagoula Physical Therapy Clinic – Encore Rehabilitation for almost ten years and was recently named Clinic Director.

In his free time, Nathan enjoys working out, fishing and hanging out by the pool or beach with friends. Over the past nine years, he has enjoyed building relationships with doctors, schools, and the community. He looks forward to making many more relationships in the future!

Megan received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine. She grew up in a small farming town in central California and has since lived in various parts of the country, including Michigan, Tennessee, and Alabama. Megan is excited to share her love for helping others through movement. She enjoys anything that involves education regarding health and wellness. She has recently completed her RYS 200-hour Yoga Vinyasa training and has future interests in pursuing sports injury prevention rehabilitation. Megan enjoys hiking, running, cycling, and anything outdoors.
