Jackson is a redshirt Sophomore at Wallace Community College where his sport is Baseball. Jackson also enjoys fishing, golfing, and hunting. His future plans include pursuing a degree at Auburn and becoming a CPA.

Jackson is the son of Slade and Jaimee Glover.

Abbey recently graduated from Lincoln Memorial University and completed her undergraduate studies at Auburn University.

As a Dothan native, Abbey is excited to return to our Dothan clinic, where she completed one of her clinical rotations. We’re thrilled to have her back as part of our team!

Happy Times with Jack at Encore Rehabilitation-Opelika

We are so excited to announce Jack Rafferty as Patient of the Month at Encore Rehabilitation-Pike Road!

Jack is originally from Northborough, Massachusetts, but has had a few physical setbacks while attending Auburn University.

When asked about his experience with Encore Rehabilitation, Jack said, “I chose Encore because the physical therapists gave me the best chance to recover and made me comfortable. I am currently having therapy done for ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair in one knee. I also have a torn ACL in my left leg, and Encore has been able to effectively treat both without issue. Mallory is the GOAT (greatest of all time)!”

Jack always brings an excited energy to his Physical Therapy appointments, and has even sang “Happy Birthday” in Polish to his therapist.

We have loved getting to know you, Jack, and we are proud of your hard work! Thank you for trusting Encore with your Physical Therapy needs.

Join us in giving a shout out to Emily Castle! She is our Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Dothan!

Emily is a Sophomore at Wallace Community College-Dothan, Alabama. She competes in Volleyball and Softball for the Lady Govs. Her future plans are to continue her education at Auburn University, pursuing a degree as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).

Her personal interests include listening to music and spending time with her family and friends.

Emily is the daughter of Abby and Scott Castle.

We would like to wish Mallory Riggs, DPT, a Happy National Physical Therapy Month!

Mallory received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Emory University, and she is Dry Needling certified. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Auburn University. She has been a Clinician with Encore Rehabilitation for nine years.

Mallory currently provides care at Encore Rehabilitation-Opelika, where she treats patients for various conditions. In her personal time, Mallory enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to Lake Martin, and attending Auburn sporting events.

Spotlight: Allison Allcorn, SLP, with Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman

In honor of Better Hearing and Speech Month, Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman invites you to meet Allison Allcorn, Speech-Language Pathologist!

Allison originally grew up in Snead, Alabama, where she graduated from Susan Moore High School. She has received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders from Auburn University and her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Faulkner University. Allison has also participated in trainings for Lamp: Words for Life and 1st 50 Words when working with Children.

In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband, Noah, and their dog, Oakley. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends on the weekends.

Allison says, “The highlight of my career is when I am able to see my patients grow in their communication skills. It’s amazing to see the progress and excitement when patients are able to use their voice for the first time. As a child who received speech therapy for over five years, my ultimate goal to help patients reach the fullest potential to improve communication skills just like a speech therapist did in my life. I am blessed to be a part of such a wonderful community and work with amazing families while at Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman.”

Justin Hargett named Regional Director with Encore Rehabilitation, Inc.

Encore Rehabilitation, Inc. is excited to announce Justin Hargett, PT, DPT, Cert. DN as our newest Regional Director of Operations!

Justin is a graduate of Auburn University with his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Biomechanics. While at Auburn, he played baseball for the Tigers. He continued his studies at Alabama State University where he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Justin specializes in orthopedic manual therapy and has a strong background in industrial rehabilitation. He has been a Clinic Director with Encore Rehabilitation for over 7 years, working in several clinics. As a Regional Director, he plans to continue focusing on developing strong relationships with his colleagues as well as serving the communities and partnering organizations of north Alabama. Justin’s region includes Encore Rehabilitation clinics in Decatur, Moulton, and Priceville.

Justin says, “I am deeply committed to providing the highest quality of care and services for individuals and communities in my area of north Alabama. I believe in 1-on-1 individualized treatment approaches with consistent and excellent outcomes. I look forward to serving others in my new role.”

Justin and his wife, Jessica, enjoy spending time with their two kids. He also enjoys hiking, sports, and playing the guitar.
