Tracy is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and provides Occupational Therapy Services to Haleyville City Schools, Phillips Elementary and High School in Marion County as well as Lakeland Community Hospital, Northwest Home Health and Encore Rehabilitation-Haleyville.
Tracy obtained her degree from Wallace State Community College, has been practicing for nearly 12 years, and has been with Encore Rehabilitation for 10 years.
She is married and has three children. Tracy enjoys spending time with family and friends, road trips, flowers, the beach, naps, and watching her kids in their extra-curricular activities.
Her favorite part of Occupational Therapy is helping people to reach their goals and become the best version of themselves.
Tracy says, “This is such a rewarding field, and I’m blessed to be a part of it!”

Beverly is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who services the Fayette and Lamar County School systems. Beverly obtained her degree from Wallace State Community College and has been practicing as a school therapist for 12.5 years.
Beverly is married and has three children and nine grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her family, kayaking, and singing with the worship team at church.
As a COTA, Beverly aims to provide her students with quality care in an interactive environment and develop creative treatment approaches.

April is Occupational Therapy Month! Today we recognize Tracy Hyde!
Tracy has been with Encore for 9 years. She is a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).
Tracy is from Haleyville, AL and attended Wallace State Community College. Tracy enjoys flowers and farming.
When asked why she chose Occupational Therapy as a career she replied, “My friend told me about Occupational Therapy and I fell in love with it and have never looked back!”

Whitney began her professional career as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She then obtained a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Belmont University to become an Occupational Therapist. Whitney has provided rehabilitation at Stone County Hospital and it’s adjoining/sister facilities for over 14 years. She has been a practicing Clinician with Encore Rehabilitation for over five years.
Whitney’s caring extends beyond her patients to her family and friends. Whitney and her husband, Cody, have three children.

Congratulations to Brooke Brownfield! Brooke has been selected Athlete of the Month for West Point High School and Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman!
Brooke is a Senior and Basketball athlete for the Warriors. She enjoys working out, watching Netflix, and hanging out with friends and family. After graduation, she plans to attend Wallace State to become a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. (We love your career choice!)
Brooke is the daughter of Chris and Amanda Defoe.

Leslie is a graduate of Fairview High School and Wallace State Community College. She is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant as well as a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist. She has been with Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman for five years. Leslie enjoys spending time with her husband, Troy, and their three dogs, Ethel, Vivian, and Mabel.

She says, “My favorite part about working with children is coming up with fun treatment ideas and getting to see them grow and learn!”

Tammy has been a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for 13 years and enjoys her career. She says, “As I have been in the school system, I have seen many children progress and reach goals that seemed so difficult for them in the beginning. Helping a child be successful as they attain their developmental milestones is very rewarding to me.”
Tammy received her degree from Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Alabama. Her expertise is in pediatrics, autism, and sensory-related disorders.
Tammy is married with two children. She enjoys cooking as well as making farmhouse furniture with her husband. She is active in her church where she enjoys many volunteer activities.

Tess is a Senior who plays Basketball (#1) and Volleyball (#12) for the Broncos. She has been selected to the All-County and All-Area Volleyball teams. Her post-graduation plans include pursuing an Occupational Therapy Assistant degree at Wallace State. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
