Will Gunnin – Athlete of the Month for Addison High School and Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman

On November 29, 2016, Will Gunnin lost his life in a wreck. Will played football, baseball, basketball, and track for the Addison Bulldogs. He also was on Addison’s first Fishing Team. Will was loved by all who meet him. The Football Spirit Cry this year was “79 Strong”.
Encore Rehabilitation Athletic Trainer Dewayne Fortenberry says, “The team and community knew him as Papa Gunnin, but for this Athletic Trainer, he will always be known as Big Will or the big sweaty teddy bear.” 
Will’s parents are Donna and Jeff Gunnin. Will has been selected as Athlete of the Month for Addison High School and Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman.

Announcing Austin Riddle, Athlete of the Month for Vinemont High School and Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman!

Austin is a Freshman who competes in a variety of sports including Basketball, Baseball, Football, Track and Cross-Country! In his free time, he enjoys sports and church activities.  His post-graduation plans include pursuing an Architecture Degree at UAH-University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Austin is the son of Daniel and Missy Riddle.

Congratulations to Christopher Broyles, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Winfield!

Christopher is multi-sport athlete competing for the Pirates in Football (#25), Basketball (#14), and Track. He is a Junior at Winfield High School and plans to attend the University of Alabama or Mississippi State University to pursue a career in Physical Therapy. (Great career choice!) Christopher is the son of Billy Joe Broyles.

Congratulations to Kanasta Daniel for being selected as the Athlete of the Month for Vinemont High School and Encore Rehabilitation – Cullman!

Kanasta is a Sophomore and plays multiple sports for the Eagles: Basketball, Softball, and Track. She has also served as a Football Manager. After graduation, Kanasta plans to pursue a degree in Aerospace Engineering at Michigan University. She is the daughter of Waylon and Channah Daniel.

Introducing Blake Comeaux, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Diamondhead, Mississippi!

Blake is a Junior at Hancock High School where he is a multi-sport athlete in Football, Track, and Powerlifting. He has placed 1st and 2nd in the District for Discus and has been selected to The Sea Coast Echo First Team.

His post-graduate plans include attending Rice University to obtain a law degree and become a mediator. Blake is the son of Leigh and Daniel Comeaux.

Christian plays varsity Basketball, Soccer, Track, and Baseball for the Saints. When not participating in sports, Christian enjoys spending time with his friends. He is the son of Meg and Pete Peterson.

Congratulations to Montrel Alexander for being selected as the Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation – Long Beach! As a Sophomore at Pass Christian High, he participates in Football (#34) and Track where he has enjoyed varsity sports for two years.

Montrel plans to pursue a college degree in scientific technology or agriculture, perhaps in veterinary science. His parents are Tonya Alexander and Lionel Alexander.

Congratulations to Amber Willis, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation of Columbia, Mississippi! Amber is a Senior at East Marion High School where she successfully competes in four sports: Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, and Track.

Amber has played varsity sports four years for the Eagles and has won multiple awards and honors including Ironlady; District Best Defensive Basketball Player; All District Volleyball Team; and Best Softball Batting Average.

When not competing, Amber enjoys spending time with family and playing sports. She intends to pursue a college degree in Biology and Health.  Amber is the daughter of Ronald and Laveta Willis.

Congratulations to Sebastian Fausett for being selected as the Encore Rehabilitation – Diamondhead Athlete of the Month!

Sebastian is a 10th Grade athlete at Hancock High School where he enjoys playing multiple sports: football (#35), soccer (#99) and track. He has played varsity sports for the Hawks for one year.

After high school, Sebastian plans to attend Mississippi State University and major in the medical field.

Sebastian’s parents are Caroline and Todd Fausett.

Congratulations to the Foley Encore Athlete of the MonthTimmathy Johnson! Timmathy is a senior, multi-sport athlete at Foley High School. He has been a member of the varsity Football and Track teams for 4 years now and wears jersey #10.

Timmathy will graduate in the class of 2017 and plans to go to college to study architecture. He is the son of Heather Johnson-Bush.
