#EncoreRehab Booth Winners at AHSAA State Basketball Finals

Thank you to everyone who came by the Encore Rehabilitation, Inc. booth at the AHSAA Basketball State Finals last week in Birmingham, Alabama. We enjoyed talking with the hundreds of adults that registered for our door prize. We meet individuals from all over the state of Alabama that came out to support the athletes, coaches, and schools participating in the finals. 

Door Prize winner was Ms. Hollie Nix! She was selected as our winner for the Stanley cup, wireless speaker, and Encore swag! 

And we appreciated all the athletes, young and old, that took time to shoot hoops with us! Our final record for most points scored was 93 points in 70 seconds! 🏀

We look forward to seeing everyone next year at the AHSAA State Finals! 😎

Donaven MOss is Athlete of the Month for #EncoreRehab Winfield!

Meet Donaven Moss, our Encore Rehabilitation-Winfield Athlete of the Month!

Donaven is a Junior at Marion County High School where he competes in football. Donaven plans on attending The University of Alabama or Bevill State upon graduation to pursue a degree in Nursing or Welding. Donaven enjoys sleeping, hanging out with friends and welding in his spare time.

Donaven is the son of Carleigna and Randy Duckworth.

Happy National Athletic Training Month to McCayla Richards, ATC, with Encore Rehabilitation-Winfield

Happy National Athletic Training Month to Encore Sports Medicine Athletic Trainer McCayla Richards!

McCayla is originally from Winfield, Alabama. She currently provides sports medicine services to Marion County High School. You may also see her on the sidelines of other nearby schools.

McCayla earned her Athletic Training degree from The University of Alabama. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and family. She also enjoys going to the gym and playing golf.

When asked why she chose athletic training as a career, McCayla shares, “I chose athletic training as a career because of my passion for helping and serving others. I always knew growing up that I wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. I was encouraged by Melinda Wilson to pursue athletic training when I was a freshman in college. After hearing her describe this career, and seeing the impact she had not only on her athletes, but on myself and others in our community, I knew I wanted to become an athletic trainer.”

We are proud to have McCayla on our Encore Sports Medicine Team. Thank you for all you do for Marion County High School and in the community!

Meet Victoria Taylor, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Winfield!

Victoria is a multi-sport athlete competing in Softball, Basketball, and Volleyball for Marion County High School. She has received the awards Most Improved (softball) and 6 Man (basketball). After graduation this spring, she plans to pursue at Physical Therapist Assistant degree at Itawamba Community College. In her free time, she likes hanging out with friends.

Victoria is the daughter of Steven and Rebecca Taylor.

Deuce is a multi-sport athlete who competes in Football, Basketball and Track & Field. He has been named All-State Quarterback as well as two times each All-Conference, All-County, and All-Journal Record Athlete.

Deuce is the son of Amy and Ellis Belk.
