We’re excited to celebrate the addition of Physical Therapist Kelsey Tubbs to our rehab team at DCH Encore Tuscaloosa North!

Kelsey is deeply dedicated to pelvic rehabilitation and has a special passion for supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and urinary incontinence. Her commitment to her skills means our patients receive compassionate, evidence-based care every step of the way.

Kelsey’s credentials include: Doctor of Physical Therapy (Alabama State University, 2025), Herman and Wallace Pelvic Floor Level 1 (2024), Bachelors of Science (The University of Alabama, 2022).

Meet Enoch Jones, PT, DPT!

Enoch is a Regional Director with Encore Rehabilitation and a licensed Physical Therapist with extensive experience in industrial rehabilitation, sports and orthopedic rehab, dry needling, and blood flow restriction training. Enoch has been a Physical Therapist with Encore Rehabilitation for 17 years.

Enoch is certified in multiple Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) systems and frequently performs AMA 4th and 6th Edition Impairment Ratings. His background includes FCEs, impairment ratings, workplace and physical demands analysis, post-offer and pre-employment screenings, fit-for-duty evaluations, and agility testing — making him one of Encore’s most versatile evaluators in complex industrial cases.

He has presented at the Encore-Uhler Sports Medicine Symposium and the Alabama Workers’ Compensation Organization conferences, taught AMA impairment rating courses, and has been published in the Journal of Acute Care Physical Therapy.

Back to walking without assistance at Encore Rehabilitation-Haleyville

Congratulations to our Patient of the Month, Royce Hess, at Encore Rehabilitation – Haleyville! Mr. Hess came to Encore following a right hip replacement and has made incredible progress. McKenna leaves the wheelchair behind at Encore Rehabilitation-Andalusia

“In June, McKenna was injured in an ATV accident. She sustained a mid-distal femoral shaft fracture. She had immediate surgery and then spent 7 weeks in a full leg cast with mobility being very limited with the aid of a wheelchair.

“At the beginning of August, the doctors were satisfied with the progression of her fracture healing and released her to light activity and to start Physical Therapy. When she started rehab, she had very limited mobility of her leg. She was reluctant to use her leg or bear any weight on it. She depended heavily on her wheelchair.

“Thanks to the help of Encore Rehabilitation-Andalusia and all of the amazing Rehab Team, McKenna has left the wheelchair behind and is back to walking without any aids!

“She has improved so much in the last two months and really has regained a great portion of the use and mobility of her leg back. With her hard work and perseverance, and the support of the Rehab Team, we know she will be back to 100% soon and enjoying all of the activities she loves! I highly recommend Encore!” ~Heather Barton, happy parent

Greene County High School Career Day with Encore Rehabilitation & SportsFit-Leakesville

Congratulations to Brannon Turner, Athlete of the Month at Encore Rehabilitation – Dothan!

Brannon is a 10th-grade student at Geneva County High School, where he plays football, baseball, and basketball for the Bulldogs. He injured his knee while playing football and has been putting in the hard work during therapy to get back to sports.

After high school, Brannon plans to join the Air Force to help pay for college. Eventually, he hopes to pursue a career in real estate. When he’s not in school, Brannon enjoys watching sports, playing Fortnite, and golfing.

Brannon, it has been a joy helping you through your therapy and seeing your dedication to your rehab as you work to get back to doing all the things you love. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors!

Ms. Darty has rehab success with Encore Rehabilitation-Hamilton!
