Meet Javen Westbrook, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Fayette!
Javen was awarded WAC Punter of the Year for football. He also competes in track where he was a state qualifier and placed 1st in sectionals in his events. Javen hopes to play football in college and work toward a degree in Sports Medicine to become an athletic trainer. He enjoys watching movies, hanging out with friends, working out, and playing video games.
Javen is the son of Lance and Andrea Westbrook.

In honor of Better Hearing and Speech Month, Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman invites you to meet Allison Allcorn, Speech-Language Pathologist!
Allison originally grew up in Snead, Alabama, where she graduated from Susan Moore High School. She has received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders from Auburn University and her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Faulkner University. Allison has also participated in trainings for Lamp: Words for Life and 1st 50 Words when working with Children.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband, Noah, and their dog, Oakley. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends on the weekends.
Allison says, “The highlight of my career is when I am able to see my patients grow in their communication skills. It’s amazing to see the progress and excitement when patients are able to use their voice for the first time. As a child who received speech therapy for over five years, my ultimate goal to help patients reach the fullest potential to improve communication skills just like a speech therapist did in my life. I am blessed to be a part of such a wonderful community and work with amazing families while at Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman.”

Braxton is an upcoming Senior at Fayetteville High where he plays Football for the Tigers. He has been awarded All-Region twice and State Champion. He enjoys watching movies, working out playing football, Madden video games, and hiking. Braxton plans to pursue a college degree in the Business field.
Braxton is the son of Meghan and Zeke Wilson.

Whitney is a native of Cullman and we are very proud to have her with Encore! She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and her master’s degree from Alabama A&M University.
Whitney has almost 14 years of experience in the field of Speech-Language Pathology and has provided services in school settings, outpatient clinics, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities. She has received VitalStim certification and has received training to complete FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) for the evaluation and treatment of swallowing disorders. She has been with Encore Rehabilitation for almost a year.
Whitney is married to David Cole. Their son, Bennett, attends Cullman Middle School. She has two dogs, Mollie and Annie. Whitney enjoys hiking, mountain biking, reading, and going to concerts.

Rachel has been a Speech-Language Pathologist with Encore Rehabilitation for four years and has been a service provider with Early Intervention through Encore for two years. Rachel attended Alabama A&M University where she earned both her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees. In addition to her training and work as a Speech Therapist, she is also a certified VitalStim Provider and has received training in LAMP: Words for Life.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, Nick, and their two dogs, Butters and Myla.
Rachel says, “The best moments working with my patients and their families have been seeing the moment of joy when someone’s child does something new for the first time—whether it’s saying a first word, communicating with an AAC device, trying a new food, or producing a fluent sentence— it’s a privilege to be the person who helps someone better communicate and work towards a future where every child has a voice.”

Olivia is a upcoming Senior at Cullman High School where she has competes in Softball for the Bearcats. Her personal interests include photography, videography, sports broadcasting, writing, editing, TV production and spending time with family and friends. Her future plans are to pursue a Communications degree at Samford University specializing in Sports Broadcasting.
Olivia is the daughter of Adam and Kellie Britton.
