Physical Therapy instead of surgery

Demetria Patterson could not bend her knee. She visited her doctor who recommended Physical Therapy to see if she could avoid surgery.

Demetria says, “My doctor told me I had some wear in my knee that therapy would be best for me, that if it was not enough, there was nothing else to be done but surgery. Since being at Encore Rehabilitation-Columbiana, Mrs. Suzanne Jarvis has really helped me reach my goal of bending my knee pain free. She has been a great therapist and I feel like I have benefited totally from where I was in the beginning. I went from not being able to bend at all in my left knee to bending 120-125 degrees.

“I choose Encore because I was recommended by my doctor because Encore is close to my  home. I thank him for the recommendation and I thank Mrs. Jarvis for working with me. She has a great way of working with people and doesn’t push you to do anything that will cause you any type of further injury. Thank you to Brian as well for always helping out with suggestions.
